Wanna go somewhere exotic for like 4-5 days in a few months. I haven't really traveled outside of US except Dubai once.

why wasting time going to some third world countries ? Buy a ticket and go to France, spend some time in Paris and on the French Riviera, see that beautiful country, forget about people in cheap t-shirts and sandals and see the most chic people in the world.

france is nice but i think i had much more fun seeing a volcano and rainforest with guides that wanted me to be happy than i had coexisting with eurosnobs that didn't speak english and wanted me to go home.
again, paco if you're going with a significant other there is no reason to go somewhere for the nightlife, do you want to have a great once-in-a-lifetime adventure or just get drunk and go club hopping (which i'm sure you can do close to home).

Ur right Mike. Not really looking for club environments. More of pretty beaches cuz my wife and I love to jetski. Experencing a Volcano would be prettyvawesome also. We are big into trying different ethnic foods as well so a spot which has a variety of Culture would be cool.

Jet ski city here in Panama City Beach FL, white sand beaches, crystal clear blue water, and its pretty much unknown to most of the US. Just dont come down here now, Spring Break is in full swing for the next 4 weeks.

how are the beaches in France and Paris?

French Riviera is very beautiful or you can try the beaches in Normandie which is close to Paris. But with their TGV (high speed train) you could be in Nice in few hours...nothing like Amtrak.

French people are very nice and yes, they don't like 300 lbs loud Americans entering a museum wearing flip flops and chewing gum.

I understand some American frustration with the french, a country like France where eating while walking is considered rude, where the women dress up for just going outside to throw the garbage...such a place could be a challenging exeprience for most Americans.

I really enjoy Columbia and Jamaica... Those are places I have been multiple times. If you are staying in the United States, you can't go wrong with Southern California, Santa Barbara to be exact.

Goto Puerta Vallerta Mexico. That city is just full of Americans. If that doesn't float your boat you can travel an hour north to many of the secluded beach resorts. Mexico has legal sports gambling. Most of the resorts have the Caliente Sports and Race books in their bar/lobby area. You can make your bets in the morning head out to your activity then watch your bet in the evening.

I think barbados is pretty nice. If you've never been to the west indies. Pick an island, some of them are more slummed out than others, but it's still paradise.
