Mex, explain quickly how this is taking all your profit, aren't there ways you can do less transactions? I know im missing something here but by the time I heard the news the other day the thread was 10 pages long & didnt have time to get the details

Well with the SBR Tax on transactions I lost 50 points the first day. Over a month if that was the average I would be down 1500 points just through tax. I would then be running a book for nothing. That is around what I had made. January was a break even month, so I would have lost a bunch of points then.

Well even if SBR doesn't appreciate the work done by Mexi and the traffic and interest he generated with his book, at least the posters do. Take the points and get yourself something sweet Mexi, god knows you've earned it.

Sorry to hear about that mex. I think Mex should be the one that operates the SBR Book anyway. He did an excellent job when he had a sportsbook when this site did not have one. I would like to see SBR have futures and other things that other books do have. I think it would be a great idea.

It was a good run. I appreciated the quality lines and avenue to put down more points on a single play. You should really think about spending those things before they change the value of them on all of us. Because of the time value of money (or points) they are worth more today than tomorrow.

Mex,

I never got into betting points, but I looked at some of your daily book threads and was very impressed with how you organized and ran it. It was good to see the mutual respect , for the most part, between you and those who bet with you. Just want to say that observing what you accomplished and how you and your clients acted gave me a lift in this place that is so often such a downer for me because of .... well, several reasons unrelated to gambling that I won't go into here.

Anyway, I second the advice you got from others about not waiting too long to cash in those points.
