    Steve Kerr-one more time
Warriors coach Steve Kerr ridiculed Robertson's claims earlier this week and took another shot at the Big O on Saturday, after Curry stunned the Thunder with a game-winner from well beyond 30 feet.

Asked how the Thunder should've guarded Curry, Kerr r
esponded "You guys should ask some of the old-time players, they have a better idea of how to guard Steph than the new coaches do. All of us new coaches have no idea what we're doing."

Did the 3pt shot exist when Oscar played?

Many consider Oscar one of the top 3 all around offensive players ever.

Then, a few seconds later, he said "I'm joking when I respond to this stuff, because it's amusing to all of us. Obviously, I have unbelievable respect for all the legends in our league."

no oscar years had no 3 ball.

                oscar was sick. unreal athleticism.

he played against a lot of bums though.

the thing is, oscar and others weren't pushed to their limits at that time. guys today, they have so much tape from previous players, and other players are constantly getting better, it's driving them to become better. just look how many guys are gonna start developing their 3 ball and dribbling skills now that curry is just dominating with them. same way you had bryant mastering the same game as jordan. oscar had nothing to look up to. it's unfair to really compare him to curry.

Yeah, with the ESPN top 100 and Kid Curry (anyone else remember that great Western?) going berserk, the comparisons are getting ridiculous.
I don`t blame the old bastards for chirping. Most of them made shit for REAL money, had a WAY tougher way of life with travel and vicious racism.
A great majority of NBA players had second jobs until the 1970s . Nowadays, if you are average, keep your mouth shut, you can play for 10 years and
                      have generational wealth.

I would love to see the top 8 guys from each decade ( 70s,80s,90s,etc.) square off in a round robin type weekend tournament.
Obviously using rules from the past. Talk about must see TV.

                        Goat is correct.

The Big 'O' made an error in not prefacing his remarks with "The 3-pt shot has changed everything, it's a totally different game now, but if these guys were back in my day......"
