Tell me fellas, what can i expect?

They tried a crown a week or so ago, but the crack seems to have been too extensive cause my tooth is as bad as it was before. So it seems this is the last resort. I hope its as painless as the crown itself was to get.

the thing will cost like 300 bux under my plan for everything.

I should be shot up under the local stuff like i was for the crown, at least thats what i gather. This isn't something i look forward to, but nothing could be as bad as when i had 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled, that was brutal for a week or so.

When my dentist wanted to put a crown on my tooth he said it was going to cost $2500 with insurance. I told him if it was going to have diamonds on it because he was ripping me off.

here is what they do they will give you a series of needles so its painless , then they get a series of metal needles and they spin them in the hole where they make a hole to get to root , depending on tooth location is how many roots some have 1.2.3 4. roots. they take xrays as they go , when they hit the area that has pus in the root the pus comes out if it is a top tooth sometimes you can feel the pus dripping out , but thats a good thing ,then they put medicine in the whole ans seal it up with a filling, hopefully it works , sometimes it doesn;t then they have to slice your gum open and scrape gums etc. I have had these procedures done many times I HAVE SPENT OVER 60,000 dollars sounds unbelievable but when something doesn't work at the dentist you just keep paying I payed 6 000 dollars to save a front tooth it finally took, on my teeth over the last 35 years ,my mouth and teeth look perfect you would swear I am 21 if you look at my mouth, they are caps and screwed in teeth, i always take care of my teeth but my family all have soft teeth we have alot of problems , good luck and brush and floss lol.

its one of the back molars, i got a crack in it back in 2000, just got a big filling on top, then decided i was sick of occasional pain when i eat so i went for the crown, that hasn't worked, so before the permanent crown gets in place, he is going to go the root canal.

i had a buddy get one a few years back and said afterwards he could finally eat on that side of his mouth again after years of not being able to.

trust me you will be crying like a baby....I mean howling

they will give you a shot in the mouth but it will numb and not stop the pain

when the drill hits those nerves if will feel like a bee stinging your mouth

j/k it is not that bad although the part about the bee sting is accurate but you can shake it off pretty easy
