    I love this.

For me, it was a bet on the KY Derby when I was younger - my grandfather bet it for me at the OTB. I didn't know anything about horses at the time, but I won my bet - $5 across the board on Grindstone. Didn't gamble again on anything for a few years, except some random card games in college - but got back into it when I moved closer to a racetrack. Now doing horses regularly, not much in the way of sports, though. (Except for SBR points..!)

Father's been betting ever since I can remember. I remember he used to let me bet $1 a game with him when I was younger, and I sucked. I wouldn't be surprised if he was fading my picks for the real $$$

When I was 14 I went to Vegas with my parents and told my mom to put 5 bucks on a couple baseball games for me. She came back up to the room and told me that she instead put 5 bucks on a 4 game parlay. After she explained it to me, she gave me the ticket and I noticed that the 5 dollar bet could turn into 75 bucks. Winning that little parlay was all it took to get me hooked. When I turned 18 I started playing at Betus because it was like the first thing that came up on google. . Haven't stopped since.
