    How did your gambling originate...
I personally was born into this shit...

    Grandpa was a Bookmaker...

His Brother was a Professional Card / Horse / Sports player. This man was my idol growing up... He spent the days at the track and nights at the Commerce Card Room. He never worked a 9 to 5 for as long as I could remeber.

Both my parents have always gambled... I spent New Years at Circus Circus in Vegas till the age of 15

I've been playing horses and sports since I was 10. My wife bitche$ at me about our son who is 8 years old. He's shown an interest in this gambling thing... he's already playing $5 / 6 team parlays hoping to cash that ticket!

Former athlete that thought he could see things that others couldn't. Furthermore, thought it was another way of making money off of knowledge. First couple of times out won, it was like a calling. Try something succeed, try it again, rather the calling was too the dark side or not I'm not sure yet, good day

Poker with my grandmother. Track with my father from as young as I can remember. Would take me saturdays from 11 til 6. Very boring for a 6 or 7 year old. Then started gambling with friends on video games and dice in school.

You know what's funny is schools spend so much time warning about cigs and alcohol and drugs but they never taught me one thing about gambling

Dad was a heavy horse player. Then when I started to work, my first boss was betting sports and he turned me on to his bookmaker. That is how I started gambling full time at the age of 17.

When I was 14 I went to the track with my brother who was 18. He would make some bets for me, and I hit an exacta for $25. I've been hooked on gambling ever since.

So it's safe to say that poker is the weed of gambling....It's the gateway drug.

I started betting on sports, actually, when I went to Iceland and met one of my friends there. He was tied in to the local tipping scene to the 9s. Got me started tipping soccer for the 3 weeks I was there...we went to the bar every night for 3 weeks straight, hit on Icelandic woman, and won 75% of the nights...
Sadly, it's never been as fun as those 3 weeks were. Maybe I'm chasing that dream....

Got thrown out of Trump Plaza's casino when I was 11 years old. Was advising my father behind the table of how to play a few hands of blackjack. He won 2 out of 3 before I was shown the door. I'm sure if he lost all three, we'd still be there.
