I dont worship Kobe, you hate him and you worship Lebron that is well known here. Anyways thanks for answering my questions.

Magic was your favorite yet you don't like Lebron? Man you don't make sense.

Yes, you certainly seem to. Whatever, one day your blinders will come off and you'll appreciate Lebron's greatness. He's a more athletic Magic with a much better jump shot.

What is your issue kid? Magic was the best all around player the game ever had. Lebron isnt comparable to him. Why would i like Lebron? He plays for a team other than LA. I am a LAkers fan williams try to understand that. You are a fan of Lebron James not the cavs. Were you a cavs fan before Lebron got there and if he leaves will you still be a fan of the cavs. Just answer that question please.

My issue is you don't recognize talent. Lebron plays the game in a very similar way to Magic, yet does some things much better than he did. Magic has given multiple interviews where he calls Lebron a more athletic version of himself. Take the blinders off.

I appreciate talent outside of the Cavs, why can't you like players outside of the Lakers?

No, I wasn't a Cavs fan before Lebron. I'm not sure how that matters. Were most Bulls fans in the 90s fans before Jordan? I don't think so, and so what? Lebron isn't going to leave Cleveland, so I'm not even concerned about that question.

I already told you i liked Magic and i cant speak for others. I will say that all of my buddies like there teams and arent really fans of any particular player. I dont know anyone that likes Lebron cause i dont associate with the young guys who are all big fans of his. I personally enjoy watching guys like Nash, Roy, Pierce, Billups, Dwilliams etc.

I know you mentioned Magic, but I asked who they like in the NBA today. Now you mention some people that you enjoy watching, but you don't enjoy watching Lebron? He doesn't have to be your favorite player, but just because he is too big/too fast/too strong and uses those attributes you think he has no talent just physical ability?

Lebron and Dwight are the only 2 players that I will stay home and watch their games. I will watch the Kings play, just because I like them. And I used to watch the Warriors, but now they ditched their players I liked.

I'm 25 so I'd say i'm the new generation "KID"

The Slam Dunk contest is not "cool" anymore. Just like we all outgrow things in life, the slam dunk contest is the same thing to the huge superstars who want to legendary and known for more than something as freakshowing as the slam dunk contest. No one really thinks Nate Robinson is a great basketball player, more of a novelty act, and even Nate doesn't want any part of it. That will be his legacy. Same with Spud. It is the only way some of the players will be footnotes in basketball history. LeBron is too big for it, and was too big for it coming straight out of high school. DWade is too big for it, he has a hall of fame resume to build on. Kobe too old, no old guys allowed. No big guys have won it other than Superman and Nance, I don't think Rain Man ever won it. So unless you are an NBA nobody there is no upside. If you have name or game, you don't need the slam dunk contest. On the flip side, if you have big game and a big name the Slam Dunk contest needs you. Kind of like being a fat and ugly broad, you have to take who is willing to be seen in public with you. Everybody will **** you, but no one of any substance will take you seriously. So unless you see LeBron, Kobe, DWade and Melo marrying Rosie O Donnell, forget about it.

There's no sense in debating Lebron's unbridled greatness with you, but I will bring up another point:
Great players don't always know better.
Michael Jordan drafted Kwame Brown with the #1 pick. The greatest player of all-time is probably be one of the worst GM's of all-time.
With Magic, I don't take much of what he says very seriously. Every dunk contest, he announces the same ish: "THE DUNK CONTEST IS OFFICIALLY BACK". We all know how that turned out.

Lebron got hyped last year when Howard and Nate were going at, and he thought since he was gonna do it other big names would do it. When Lebron saw noone was going to do it (beside Nate) he backed out because his legacy "as a great dunker" is more important to him than winning the dunk contest.

Idk why people keeping saying Kobe and Vince should have done it too. They have already done the dunk contest, its not there fault Lebron wasnt in it at the time. They are alot older than Lebron and cant get as high and do the things they once could.

The only way you can get the big name stars in the Dunk Contest is if you get 4 big names to agree on it. As it would have been this year, LBJ versus Nate Robinson is probably not the stage LBJ wanted to show his dunking ability. Give me LBJ vs. Wade or LBJ or Durantula then we can get him out there

The Jordan/Kwame comparison is not an equivalent situation. That was Jordan trying to identify potential and draft for fit. Magic saying the Lebron plays like a more athletic version of himself is a simple look and identify comparison. There is no predicting potential here. Magic knows his own abilities as well as anyone (obviously) and he says that Lebron has them. It takes a lot of swallowing your own pride to say something like that so it should not be taken lightly.

The fact of the matter is that Lebron is the most versatile and highest skilled player in the league. I still contest that neither of these things are his greatest attributes. His greatest attribute is that he is more charismatic than any star the NBA has seen since Magic and is the best natural leader of modern-day NBA (This comes from Coach K after coaching him on Team USA).

Like LeBron needed to prove he could throw down a nastier dunk than Nate Robinson (3 dunks in regular season this year) and thos other guys. I still cant believe how weak Shannon Browns dunks were I was expecting him to win it.

The first dunk he attempted and missed, the 1 handed 360, that one would have been alright. After that was just garbage.
I thought the guy would really step up and want to showcase himself.

Shannon did that dunk in the high school competition against Lebron and made it. He lost to Lebron though.
