I'm not touching any of his props until I get a clear picture of how the Brewers intend to use him going forward. If I was confident that they would let him pitch normally, I'd hit those overs. That last start spooked me as they pulled him after 4 innings and around 60 pitches. Was that due to the first start coming off the all star break or is that a preview of what's to come? As previously stated, today should tell a lot...if they pull him after 4/5 innings and 60/70 pitches, that is not looking good for any futures on him.

We've mentioned this before.
I placed that future wager on Memorial Day, days after Sanchez completed his amazing Month of May.
5-0, no earned runs... Amazing.

The two main reasons I wagered on Miz.
And this is no knock on Sanchez; he's a pitcher who checks all the boxes.
He's the type of dude I want as my team's front-line staff ace.
Elite-level LHPs like Sanchez are unicorns.

Back to my point.
For three weeks in May, Sanchez was the center of the MLB universe.
And rightfully so; he earned it.

The wagering community- some like to call them 'the public' (this is my opinion only; I cannot prove this) overreacted and bet down the Sanchez Cy Young future from (I need to fact-check these numbers; I might be off) +130 to -150.

While Sanchez was blistering hot, Miz was doing the 105-MPH thing he does so well and hanging in that CY Young Award chase.
It's the law of gravity: what goes up must come down; Sanchez was bet down to odds-on prohibitive favorite, and in doing so, Miz's price went up to +340, creating, to what I saw, tremendous value.

The other factor I weighed was that, as amazing a month of May as Sanchez had, it's impossible to sustain that kind of five-game tear he was on. Unless you're 1968 Bob Gibson, or 1972 Steve Carlton, all pitchers, except for the chosen few, will level off.

His first 20 pitches Saturday night were 100 MPH+
In six May starts, he allowed just one run (0.27)

+340 (as of 5/28 DK) is value +. +200 would still be a value.
The feeling here is that by July 4, his Cy Young odds will be bet down to +180
