We try to encourage a friendlier atmosphere than it used to be. Kind of killed the number of posts but it is a more chill place to mostly talk about sports. Glad to have you back. We need all the OGs we can find to keep it interesting.

Optional knows how to run a site. The other site is an insult to your intelligence to be posting there. They only have 1 person that is "ok" in charge They ran it into the ground , Glad you are back here too.

Rich, honest response:
1) Game changed when the SBR Pts went away.
2) The Poker games kept people around. Didn't cost much. But it was fun and entertaining.
3) Smaller group now for sure.
4) Honestly, it's not bad now. Smaller group and less noise.
5) If you look, you can still find good info here. I think it's a return to Contest and solid Handicapping.

Assuming good health, Adams will put up great numbers. Rams have a really good team all around. They have a stacked receivers room, the RBs look awesome from top to bottom, the O line is improved, the D Line is basically the same, the DBs and LBs are really the only question marks but most of the guys are back from last year.

Staffords back issue is the only thing I’m really concerned about. Jimmy G has been getting all the reps though so if Stafford is down for any amount of time, they are prepared.

I will be watching your Rams very closely next year!

I'm hearing he's having a good camp so far and playing nicely with his teammates.

If Adams plays up to 80 percent or better when he was in his prime, that Rams offense could be lethal.

You could eat a couple pizzas every week back then without doing much anything. Just log in and win points in contests or poker. The downfall was a handful of poker players cheated by rolling the points over with collusion. Then they had to take it away from the 99% who played fair for fun. Also some shenanigans with collussion on BTP where players shared plays.

Yeah, those were the days. Shame that a few bad actors ended up ruining it for everyone who was just there to have some fun

years since the first Vegas Bash. Just tossed that SBR backpack. Loved that thing but it was in shreds.

Refer cash has dried up and a forum is a pricey operation without consistent income. Very little to keep posters engaged if its just keyboard mashing.

True but the Rams had to play Detroit and Philly last year too. SF got rid of so many players I’m just not sure how they don’t have another down year. CMC is injury prone and Aiyuk is coming off a bad injury. Kittle is getting old. I think they have a new DC as well. Who knows, the NFL is a war of attrition most years so depth and coaching are huge. I expect the Rams D to be even better this year and offense should be as good or better with Adams joining the receiving corps. The O line will show improvement as well. I’m ready!

Gaucho, I'll be rooting for you. From a betting perspective, I'm not sure.

And my comment on the holdouts. Last year DAL/CIN/SanFran had holdouts. These guys didn't care about wins. They just wanted more money. And it doesn't even matter if they're under contract.

All three teams flamed out. I'll be looking for similar situations in this Pre-season.

Have been pondering the NFC futures. Will give one comment on why I'm only luke-warm on the Rams: *Niners off a down-year. Gives the Niners a much easier schedule.
...Rams won the Division. So, they get a tougher schedule. They have to play DET/Phi etc.
...Don't get me wrong. I hate the Niners. Those guys can't wait to squeeze every penny.

I'm now taking one stance on Pre-season. When I see a team that has multiple players holding out, I will look hard at fading that team. Tells me that the players think they run the ship and that they don't care.
