    Can betting on teams you HATE be profitable?

    Or teams you want to see lose???

    I think that's where lot of my profits/futures come from.

    Blackhawks/Kings/Seahawks/Heat/etc.

    Anyone do this in a lot of spots?

    The only teams I really, truly HATE are the Georgia Bulldogs and the New Orleans Saints. I would never be able to allow myself to bet on them, however. Only against. Hating your rival >> winning a bet imo, if nothing more than to gloat.

    I don't really have much of a problem betting on teams I hate, it's more fading my teams that's mentally troubling.

    But I will do it on occasion, except for my soccer team. It's one thing to cheer against your team watching on TV, but doing it at the stadium is impossible. Plus which it's not like they lose often.

    These teams are heavy favorites by the public.

    Not talking about every game, more like playoffs, futures.

    All the popular teams have inflated lines but there's no sense in fading Heat in a playoff series...
