I understand a breathalyzer on a car if convicted of a DUI. I have had a DUI but never had to have one of those. Anyway, it is illegal to drink & drive. When you do it you know you are breaking the law & the legal consequences of your actions as it is very dangerous. I fully understand if you break this law a judge ordering you to have this device placed on your car because you have shown you have drank & operated a vehicle & this is punishment for that crime for a specific amount of time. Now tell me what the *uck you have to do to have a judge say you can't even have a drink in your own home!!!!! I mean, it has to be pretty friggin' unreal in my opinion!Comment -

Just finished watching season 1 of Mad Men. That is the Drama series on AMC. I'd say it is much better than anything that I've seen on tv for a while. Dexter used to be my favorite drama, but it seems more like a fantasy. Mad Men is about Ad excutives on Madision Ave during 1960s. The show also won the golden globe just now. I think if the show gets nominated for Oscar, it'll be a lock to win that too.
The main character on the show is Donald Draper. He seems like the guy everyone wants to be. For me, I like the character Sterling much better because he earned the money the old fashion way...by inheritance. Draper has to lie cheat and work hard his whole life to get to where he is.
You guys should download it and watch it sometimes. You'll learn something about salesmen.Comment -
He got caught for a DUI last week.. This SCRAM thing was a requirment of his bail.. He had to get it when he posted bond.. I can understand a breathalyzer in your car, but this means he can't have anything at all for 90 days.. This is before even being found guilty.. Just charged.. 1st offence.. Maybe i could understand if he was a repeat offender, or was at least found guilty.. I just don't understand how its even legal.. He is a much better capper than i am, and bets much larger bets than i do, so i've always enjoyed watching games with him.. But with him now not being able to have a beer or two, its tough to watch games everyday with him.. My favorite table at the book is upstairs in the middle with my friend and nachos. I like to watch the 16 screens show different games and races. It is fun to watch the games, but the screens are too far away. I eat nachos and watch baseball, college basketball and one time roma which is a soccer team. They won, so i won $40. That was great. I saw that the team looked happy before the game so i bet on them and they won. It was that easy. I order beer sometimes. I like to order diet pepsi. It is one dollar. The security trips out on my bag, but that is okay, because i have to have my bag or i feel nude. It's hard to find anything interesting to even think about at 4:30 in the morning! I'm sitting here about to go to sleep. 300 channels and not a damn thing on this time of morning. Watching a B budget war movie. One thing that pisses me off more than anything in a military movie is when they don't get insignia & decorations right.
As many people as they have on a movie set to get things right how can this be overlooked. I know most, or I'd say alot of people, especially who have never been in the military, don't know the difference but I feel it's a disgrace to our veterans to not get this right. I have never served but my father did for many years & as a kid one of the first things I learned was military decorations.
When I watch any kind of military movie that's the first thing I look for, the accuracy of their ribbons on their uniform. The accuracy of the uniform for the era. If it's not right it drives me crazy. To see a silver star below an Army commendation medal, a Navy Cross on an Army soldier. Get it right, it's not hard.
A movie I really liked was with John Travolta & Samuel L. Jackson, can't even remember the name of it right now. Anyway, Samuel L. played a bad-ass sargeant, they never specified E-5, E-6 or what grade of sargeant, but in the first scene of the movie with him in it chewing ass he has E-4 rank on his collar! Not cool! There's always an asterick now beside that movie for me because of that.
Another good one is when they have a movie with foreign military, like NVA's, Russians, French whatever, & they throw some U.S. WWII victory medal or POW ribbon pn them like no ones gonna know. I KNOW DAMNIT! And I'm gonna call them out on it!
Anyway, there's my pet peeve of the day. I know most of you are thinkin' "WTF is he talkin' about?"Comment -
On the same subject, the best is when they put a captain barely old enough to be in Vietnam with a Pacifiv theater campaign ribbon from 20 years earlier in WWII! The movie 'We Were Soldiers' did a great job, & most do, but it's the ones that don't I cant stand. maybe I could get a job in Hollywood. The NFL playoffs are on my mind. What are the Jets doing differently to mix up the offensive plan of high powered offensive teams like the Chargers. Well it seems they are using a 3-4 defense and dropping the forth linebacker into pass coverage. Why did this work so successfully against the Chargers? Because they went in knowing the Chargers lacked a serious running game. Once the game started it was obvious the Chargers could not run the ball period... At that point hopefully several of you had the same thought as me if you were on the Chargers...which was.. $hit there is no way the Chargers can win if they have no running game at all!

The Flyers have been playing better for one, excluding a 4-0 stinker at the hands of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Other than that they have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL, and have been scoreing a ton of goals in recent weeks.
What does this mean? It means that since they have been scoriing so many goals you more or less just get the increased odds from -210 to +140 with a 1 goal game being pretty unlikely here (OK, it's the NHL so it still is somewhat likely, but you get the gist of what I am saying).
Philly's powerplay is currently ranked #3 in the NHL in terms of conversion and is closer to the top 2 teams than the rest of the league. Columumbus' PK unit is ranked 15th in the NHL, very average.
Ray Emery returned from his injury to lose a tough one to an elite Washington squad, he has a habit of being lights out after laying a stinker.

I love what lakerboy said. I have been through alot in my life have tried every drug I have ever heard of and have been with women of all sorts more bad ones than good ones but definitely been with some good ones. Now god blessed me with the greatest woman i have ever met. I am 34 years old now and haven't touched the other love of my life blow in 4 years. Age makes everyone mellow at least it has made me mellow. I had alot of good friend die and living a relaxed life is actually absolutely the way to go. I do have this 1 vice left called gambling. I love the thrill of it and I have actually made money the last 2 years at it. When I had 14 grams of powder on me and had 1000 on the Jets in the AFC championship game vs the Broncos many years ago I was too ****ed up to even watch the game and lost 1100 dollars without even getting the rush of watching the game. Then i looked in my pocket at those 14 grams and realized that was the only money I had to pay my bookie and for the next 3 days straight finished off that 14 grams and had to find the 1000 dollars somewhere else. (Actually I could have only gotten 5 0r 6 hundred for those 14 grams but that is beside the point). That was my life along time ago and needless to say thing are much simpler being home with my lovely wife and my 8 year old son. Someone better give me some points for that post!!!!!!Comment -
