I strongly feel that anyone that would be subjecting himself to a thread like this, a forum like this, at a time list this. Must really need the points. Times are tough, we are all out to make the world a better place for ourselves and hopefully others around us, and on the forum. That being said, it is time to elevate our games and to reach for somthing a bit higher than normal, a bit higher than we've achieved posting here before. I think that inside of us all there is a great poster, that is dying to come out. that poster might be the one to start a great winning streak the forum follows. or the next revolution to bring others' to a higher level of consciousness in regards to sports insights. When it is all said and done I lean on the wise words of the greatest coach ever. Robert Montgomery Knight. "The will to succeed is important, but what's more important is the will to prepare." and "When my time on earth is gone, and my activities here are passed, I want they bury me upside down, and my critics can kiss my ass"
Don't feel like pouring my heart out right now, but since a mod is reading this maybe I can get help. General, I have PM'e you & Lou & neither has helped with my problem. Could you fix that or tell me how to please?

-- written by Max Ehrmann in the 1920s --
Not "Found in Old St. Paul's Church"! -- see below
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

He pulls on his helmet and picks up his bat,
He walks to the plate, “Gotta hit and that’s that.”
The crowd starts to yell, the game's on the line,
Last inning, two outs, the score's nine to nine.
Dad yells, "Go get it," Mom wrings her hands,
Coach hollers, "hit it," but alone there he stands.
Heroes are made in seconds such as this,
but he's just a little boy, what if he should miss?
Years after this game's ended and he's little no more,
Will he remember the outcome or even the score?
No, he'll have forgotten if he was out, hit, or run,
He'll only look back on his friends and the fun.
So cheer this boy on, alone with his fate;
Help him remember with fondness this stand at the plate.
Spend your time wisely and help in his quest
to be a hitter with confidence and always his best
And when the game's over, this boy can stand tall,
for you've helped him prepare to give it his all.

To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.

Seriously, what is the point of marriage? How long do people stay together these days? Not very long according to statistics. Once when you get married, your life is over. You can't go out with your buddies all the time. You can't go hit on girls and try to get as much sex as possible anymore. On top of everything else, a man doesn't benefit anything from marriage. From the words of Tom Leykis, a man who gets married has no game. A man who just settles down with one woman has no game at all. And when the woman decides to leave the man, she takes everything he has, and in some states, a man has to pay alimony for the rest of his life. There are no benefits of a marriage at all. And you all want to know why divorce costs are so high ... ... ... because it's worth paying for to get rid of the misery.

I wanna share with you a little bit from this hilarious website "Texts from last night", where people send their drunk texts.
Example...
"I walked into a party and someone yelled out 'dibs!'"
Today, my teacher thought she saw me texting under my desk. When she reached under my desk and grabbed what she thought was my phone, she did grabbed my penis. MLIA.

And from the man himself the prayer that should replace all.
With all this extra stressin
The question I wonder is after death, after my last breath
When will I finaly get to rest? Through this supression
they punish the people that's askin questions
And those that possess, steal from the ones without possesions
The message I stress: to make it stop study your lessons
Don't settle for less - even the genius asks-es questions
Be grateful for blessings
Don't ever change, keep your essence
The power is in the people and politics we address
Always do your best, don't let the pressure make you panic
And when you get stranded
And things don't go the way you planned it
Dreamin of riches, in a position of makin a difference
Politicians and hypocrites, they don't wanna listen
If I'm insane, it's the fame made a brother change
It wasn't nuttin like the game
It's just me against the world

I have sent word to the proper authorities, Profit. I guess it will be repaired in the AM.
As for the 20 points,
The little fun here is that it is nice to read about what some of you have on your minds, freestyle so to say. I will be around for sometime this morning so please do share your thoughts on Any subject.
Thanks

I used to be 19 like you a long time ago. When i was your age i used to say that too. Now i am 37 and have a 4 year old girl. Her and my wife are the charm of my life- i would rather sit at home with them and share a laugh and enjoy dinner with them and watch a movie with a woman (my wife) i love dearly and trust.I have no need for some tramp who could ruin my life. I have lots of game btw i use it to clean books. I wont get divorced cause i know how to make things work out and be successful in life.

Have any of you guys ever heard of S.C.R.A.M.?. Its an alcohol monitoring device that you have to wear on your ankle, like if you were on house arrest.. Some how, it detects the ethenol that comes outta your pores.. My brother had to get one of these placed on him last week.. He can't even have Nyquil or anything with any alcohol at all or it will detect it and the police will come take him directly to jail.. It doesn't even seem constitutional to me.. That a judge can tell you that you are not even allowed to drink in your own home.. So, now that he has this thing on for the next 90 days, i have to watch games and drink alone.. I mean, i can hang out with him and not drink, but I'm not gonna go 90 days sober.. And i don't wanna drink right in front of him.. Before last week, i didn't even know these SCRAM things even existed.. Just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this thing?. Sorry to waste anyones time reading all of this, but i've had a few too many tonight and The General said to talk about whatevers on your mind.. I just wanted to vent a little and see if anyone else has ever heard of such a thing..
