    I'm not sure the best way to fight this is by eating food thrown from a crowd of people who don't like you though. What's to keep hating fans or degenerates betting on the other side from soaking some bananas with visine or lacing it with poison?

    This happens sometimes in soccer games. There are some ultras groups, who allow this kind of behaviour. Very nice reaction by Alves though.

    What I don't get is: If me and my guys (when we are visiting games) would see a guy throwing a fukkin banana on the pitch.... It would be lights out for him. Simple as that. That's an absolutely dumb and annoying act. Fans could solve this problem real easy.

    You need your ID and/or *********** that you bought the tickets with, yes.
    Not saying it's impossible to get in the stadium without. But definitely a lot harder.

    I know when I was stationed in NATO I went with my crewmembers to a game at Madrid and they had an elaborate ID system there to show with your tickets...Villareal being a smaller club doesn't nearly have the numbers of fans to track so I would think they probably have some sort of security system to show an ID with tickets...but I can't say for certain

    Trust me, I've been in stadiums in 15+ countries, I've seen games in Belgrad etc, seen games in some of the most "dangerous" stadiums of the world. I personally know lots of Ultras in Germany. In 95% of all cases, it's not the hools and not the Ultras that are throwing bananas. in most cases those are some lonely motherfukkers feeling brave hiding inside a crowd of 30.000+ people while throwing a banana. It's not just a childish and disrespectful thing to do, it's also one of the most cowardly acts ever.
