#25Originally posted by JaugWhy? Personally I don't like to buy or sell points since that increases the juice. For example a pinny -105 -105 line is 10c juice but when you buy/sell 0.5p it's something like -115 +102 13c juice.
What you are saying makes sense in broad terms. Certainly it would be a bad idea to just sell points randomly.
However I am constantly doing research and have found angles - talking about certain point ranges and/or line movement situations - where it simply pays more when you sell the point even with the increased juice. The amount you lose on wins that become pushes/losses and pushes that become losses, is more than compensated for with the increased payout on wins.
In some cases the difference is quite dramatic. So much so that it has become a high priority in my ongoing research to investigate more point selling opportunities.Comment -

#27Unfortunately, the only two places I am aware of that allow selling have both been mentioned in this thread (Pinny, Bet$3.65), and neither is open to USA.
There some places like 5 Dimes that post Alternate Lines within a couple of points or spread, which is great and virtually the same thing. Unfortunately, they don't do it for all games from all sports.Comment -
