Amish have to have social security numbers and pay taxes if they live, work and are recognized as citizens of the United States.

What about foreigners? Do they have to pay taxes on gambling as well in the US?

ahhhh see here is the grey area... this seems to be the main differance... Being a citizen and being "A property of the state" is where it gets grey... This is how some of these free man movement people beat it... They have to prove they are not a property of the and state meaning the US... If you have a social I believe you are a property of the state as well but I am not sure that Amish have socials... I went to an Amish place to eat and I thought I heard they did not but to be honest I don't remember I am still checking on it....

            excellent thanks!!!

It does appear that they both pay taxes and have soc. numbers... That is the thing having a social and you can drop it and be exempt from all of this IF you can live outside the entire system.. bank accts. jobs. yada yada... if so it can be done... most of us can't though...that's the deal...

What I have learned from this thread:

                  1. Make sure and break up all of your wagers in to $5 increments to avoid the IRS threshold for scrutiny.
                  2. Collect all losing tickets off the ground you can. Open store and sell them to gamblers who need to fool the IRS.
                  3. Nobody needs to pay taxes. Just stop paying taxes. When the IRS wants to throw you in jail, reference this thread as evidence of why you dont have to pay taxes.
                  4. There are more people living in bunkers that post here than I thought.
                  5. Megan Fox is hot.
                  6. The Amish are people too.

                  Carry on...

Hey if you want to pay all of your taxes then that's fine I encourage it.... I would rather everyone pay it so the ones that do not are not noticed... I think they have more then enough... Let me correct myself.. I KNOW THEY DO... Now then.... It all comes back around anyway for me at least... I donated 8 years of my time as a special teams/kicking coach with offensive assistants and was the strength and conditioning coach all off season... As a matter of fact I am going back into coaching again next year and it will be for free... So say what you will... at the end it all balances out... I didn't give in some areas and I gave in others...

For me.. I ain't got it... period!!!

Oh by the way.. and you can take this to the bank... A government would sooner lose your tax dollars then lose control of you... You can bet your as* on that one...

A Rothchild once said Give me control of a country's currency and I don't care who has political power becaue it will be me they will come to in due time.. Not exact but paraphrased...

Come to think of it... they might owe me money...
