      You dont really want my real feedback it could get you into trouble . I wish I could offer my services and fly over there with you and.............. maybe get shot . BETUSA is not a major player right ? Are you thinking it is because of the new laws that they are delaying and giving you the run around ? If that is the case you should be okay , it will just take a long time . You might need the dogs to do well in the nfl season so they can get their bank up . I think you will be payed it will just take a looong time . Which is not such a bad thing , you can look at it as a money tree that you know produces........ I didnt read this whole thread yet , but what I did read was good about you flying over there with proper documetation and having someone here with a ready fax and your documentation . I would take someone tough with me if you fly . My conclusion though : not sure .

                        OK, You know they are just looking for any reason not to pay you! Make sure you stay sarcasticly polite no matter how pissed you get. Try to get some date defined...."I'm going to be able to bet on the Super Bowl right?"

                        You have to look at it from a greedy Bastards point of view. You not a coustomer...Your a crediter!!! They know you won the Jackpot and it's just how much they have to pay you....theres no way they can make money off you in the near future.

                        They know you have very little leverage if any. I would start trying to get information from SBR people about the parent company, future bets I think. See if they are just stalling to get more interest off the money they would have to pay OR if they are looking for reasons not to pay you at all (I would guess this)

                        Try to talk to the higher ups hear at SBR to see if you should:

                        1. Just keep waiting to get paid and jump through what ever hoops come up. (Passive)
                        2. Start looking for leveage or presure you or SBR can get to urge them to pay you soon.
                        3. Start Negotiating a settlement price to get something out of this.

                                  I've received 12 - 2500 checks. Then the web site shutdown.

                                  Switched management companies on a new software platform - the 34 other pending requests were "canceled" - put into my account but my account is inactive and I can not log in to the new software. sportsbetting.com has me with a 0.00 balance and when I talk to support - I get the same crappy answers over and over again. I was actually told 2 weeks ago it should take about 24-48 hours.

                                                bigloser, the reason for the delay is none of the normal BS will work. They can't say a syndicate, bonus abuse, or sharp play because of the way he won!!! Casino jackpot hit.

                                                They have to think of something totally new why not to pay him. If he wasn't paid anything, I'm sure they could say internet error, but he was allready paid about 25% of the Jackpot.

                                                I bet jackpot had the larggest carry over balance out of all their coustomers. Who keeps over $85K on a low rated book?

                                                I hope that jackpot gets something but I put the line at about 50-1 that he gets all his money!!!

                                                    The reason for the delay is the two companies are playing hot potato with the balance. Neither want the debt. Jackpot is not the only big balance holder in this position.

                                                    We are watching to see if something gives with the smaller balances as a precedent but ultimately it should be sportsbook.com's debt if BetOnUSA won't pay since the money was last with them.

                                                    BetOnUSA (same owner as Oddsmaker) is saying this money was won with the "other company".

                                                    We are trying to talk to Sportsbook.com people. It's likely the Oddsmaker/BetOnUSA people will ignore the requests and Futurebet front line CS won't do anything but pass it on to them.

                                                      Bill Dozer just gave you the best possible news you could hear. If there is a chance it's kicked back to the sportsbook.com people, You will see your money at some point. SB.com might pay slow but they pay. Sounds like a long drawn out process nomatter what. Lucky you have 30K to last you through the winter.

                                                          If this is correct then surely the money is owed by BetonUSA, they are still the same company they have just chosen to use a new agent/software provider.

                                                            It is usually some kind of split deal like that. Jazette and Linesmaker have a lease agreement. With a book as big as BetOnUSA that previously had its own operation the deals can vary. I'm sure Futurebet gave BetOnUSA a rich deal with more control than the guy who comes off the street with $28,000 and the web domain BetHotChickz.com.

                                                            This one is complicated because when the Port bill passed, BetOnUSA was the 2nd largest World Gaming licensee and bought the bankrupt World Gaming Plc. That purchase gave them ownership of the software and leases for Gambling.net and Sportsbetting.com as well as the small fries that were under that Plc. (That is why Gambling.net was sold off to them by the folks who owned BetUSA (Jazette lic)). There was a struggle and some court cases. Apparently Sportsbook.com was able to get full control of the software (which all books were using) because of old contract clauses that kept WG from ever really acting as an independant company.

                                                            I'm not sure why BetOnUSA was broke off and not Sportsbetting.com but am guessing it had something to do with who controled the domain. I believe the group that managed BetonUSA and sister sites with the use of World Gaming SW was BetOnUSA AG. The guys that actually own the domains and would be the "webmasters" are the people that own Oddsmaker and BetOnUSA and are now using Futurebet's service.

Seems you can't get hold of the people that can give you answers,(even though there are no answers yet).
