I've tried some other sites like this before but got aggervated like Illini.
dont you have to rip the torrent, or change it to some other kind of file to watch them?

illini, it depends where you download it.. what did you download?

try going to

start --> name of your computer --> downloads --> click or double click --> open what you want to watch

Poker, I have done that and it won't open, I now have 6 complete downloads and I have downloaded the media player and still nothing,

illini , what is the ext of the file you DLed? Is it a .rar file or .avi or ??

are they movies?

did you go exactly where i said? if so and you see the (movie) right click on the movie and try to open in windows media player.. if it won't, atleast right click one of the movies, go to properties copy/paste the type of file

http://www.bittorrent.com/ and download the bittorrent software. Then when you download a file, it will be download in the bittorrent software.

ok, my poker videos i use to download on utorrent were easy. just open in windows media player so i had no problems. a few weeks ago i downloaded a program using winrar and had no problem but.......

i just downloaded the hangover figuring id get my ratio up that way.. i click on winrar icon, i see a the hangover folder.. i click on it and it has all the parts 1-83 as a rar file. i click on any of them and it takes me to another list of 2 choices

i double click the iso image file and it says its extracting and does parts 1-83.. then a folder video_ts.. double click that and a bunch of .bup .ifo and .vob's show up.. and i am unable to open those... so i dont know where i went wrong

Iwin, so I signed up how do I get movies and what not? What the hell is a torrent? how do I get it?

A torrent is a file type, like a jpeg (picture) or doc (Word document). A torrent file is like a puzzle. It's a bunch of pieces of the whole picture, but you download them in smaller chunks. That's just background information.

To download a torrent file, you need a program that can handle the file. The best one is uTorrent. Google it and download it.

Now you have a program that can understand the torrent language. Once you download a torrent, it should add to uTorrent and start downloading. You'll notice the file downloads as a .torrent file, but once it completes, it will change to the file the file is supposed to be; avi, wmv, iso, etc.

Once you download the file, depending on the type, you may have to burn it or download an application to view it. But I'd imagine you'd know what to do at that point.

Okay, you did everything right. You extracted the file and see the iso file. These files must be burned or extracted with specific programs. The .vob is the language for DVD players, and you won't really be able to watch that.

You now need to burn the iso using a DVD burner. To burn an iso file, use any common burning software. Nero or Roxio are popular choices, and can be downloaded from torrent sites.
