illini, you need a Torrent 101 Guide. Google or Wiki Torrent FAQ.

Basically, you need a Torrent Client (I prefer uTorrent myself)
You then download the torrent files
Then you open the torrent files in your Torrent Client

oK, I downloaded bittorrent 6.3, It says stuff is downloading, it looks like everything is correct but everything is stuck at 0.0% in the DL, I am very familiar with Limewire etc but what am I doing wrong?

seed means leave the file loaded in your torrent client and leave your client open for others to DL

I don't know what you file type you are trying to watch but a great free program that can view pretty much everything is VLC.
