onion rings are f*ckin bomb, A&W has good onion rings cause they actually hand cut them.

however poutine > onion rings anyday, poutine is the shizzle. im from toronto and there is this place downtown called "smoke's poutinerie" which is amazing! they got, pork, beef, chicken poutines etc. place is always packed.

      http://smokespoutinerie.com/ check out the menu.

fries, gravy and cheese.. i doubt any americans are dumb enough like the quebecois to put mozzarella cheese in their fries..

the frenchies must've figured out that gravy and fries aren't fattening enough, so they added the fatty cheese, too.
In New Jersey we call them Disco Fries (Fries covered in sliced American cheese then covered in gravy)

                Great stuff

Poutine is specifically with curds of mozzarella cheese.

sammy and paver, you boys would freak over Harvey's onion rings here in canada. unreal how great they are..
You forgot to post how they have a Joe Louis and a pepsi to wash it all down. I'm hoping the quebecois keep eating this shit and die off.....

Back to the original thread.... if the rings are home made, I much prefer them to fries. However I would always have Mary Browns Taters given the choice of a side.
