Yeah. December is always bad but this year, it's horrible. The downtown security guards always have guns for some reason. It's not like that on the strip.

We have stayed there a couple times (I sorted adopted the Vegas Club as my goto cheap, clean room after the lady luck closed) so I'm assuming the pics are from the south tower... The north tower as newer, relatively nicer, and one of the better values downtown... If you would have complained about the room you probably would have got an upgrade to the other tower (or better) especially since right now is the slowest time in Vegas until the holidays... I'm guessing that if you had went downstairs, politely complained, it is 50/50 you would be staying in a suite right now (slipping a twenty would have easily locked up the deal)... The rule with Vegas is if you not happy about something just let them know and they will usually try and correct things - especially when they are desperate for business...

No JJ, it's just good ol' Billy Walters and me getting piss-drunk on overpriced red wine.

Herbie, that was an "upscale" North Tower room, I specifically asked for that after reading reviews. Jeez, would love to see a crappy South Tower room.

And my golden rule is to write off anyone who pulls off stupid shit like that. There's no legitimate reason to provide such a crappy experience to a customer, especially with the excellent and cheap Nugget right by.

I haven't stayed there for a couple years but sounds like the north tower has joined the rest of the casino/facilities unless you just got stuck with a shit room...
