NHL futures are a mess! Fremont has the Leafs at 50/1 while the Nugget offers a generous 250/1. Fremont also has an unexplainable line on the Habs, who might well miss the playoffs - 10/1!!! Nugget has 60.

Got a quarter on the Trashers at +6600 at Fremont and another quarter at +6000 at Four Queens. Nugget only offers 50, so I think I'm gonna try my luck on the Strip this afternoon.

Sam, I'm never stepping back in there again. Was supposed to stay a second night but I just booked tonight at the Nugget. That was the single most disgusting room I've ever stayed in, and I can't stress enough just how low my standards are. They really just cleaned the bathroom in my room. Stains and dirt/grime everywhere else and there's a pretty strong, rancid smell in the place. Ugh!

I am also curious about the question of line movement. I don't know if my reason is the same as Monkey's.

In general, my experience has taught me that it is a bad idea to discuss this kind of systematic betting strategy on a public forum. Other people will catch on. The more people that catch on, the worse it is for you.

If you go back and discover that you have moved the line the lesson is, it only takes one person to beat you to your bet before money starts coming out of your pocket. So why invite it?

Worst case scenario, you end up with some blabbermouth like Fishhead broadcasting it to anyone who will listen, acting like he invented it and hoping someone will be impressed with him. The whole thing can be destroyed like the ABC Islands teaser thing he ratted out.

I realize this thing isn't anywhere near that specific but I still don't see much upside in discussing the details in public. Sorry if I sound like an old poop but that is my experience.

Muddy, I totally get what you're saying, but I think that there'll always be more than enough idiots to go around. IMO, the sports betting crowd will always remain 90% sports fans who just wanna prove that they know sports by backing their claims with their paychecks.
