Funny post. Mine would be golf. I love that "two-ball" stuff they offer during grand-slam events, where you bet the one-on-one matchups (partners to outplay the other partner).

I've had a bunch of good-sized bets on those -- I remember cleaning up with Anthony Kim a year or two ago at one of the opens, and Kenny Perry too. Prob like $300 a bet?

I think soccer is gonna be the most popular answer on here for sure.

Why is soccer not in your big 6 list? its as big if not bigger than all the sports listed.

Got away from my system and played a hunch - I was up to ~$120 I think ... lost on an NBA over that didn't come close.

i bet my entire matchbook balance on obama at +175 right before the Republican National Convention, hit it again at around even money right after everyone fell in love with Palin for about 2 weeks after her cute little maverick speech. Then the couple weeks leading up the convention, bet the max with my local at about -300, hit it again day before the election at -800 i believe...i tried to hit it election day at -1300 but he'd had enough. By far the most I've ever won on any single bet.

I remember about a year ago putting down $250 on Rafael Nadal, only to see him retire after one set. I was pretty upset.
