how long is he out? i mean freeman could have come in and started right away not as a long term option.

with the division as wide open as it has been in a decade, the bills could have used him for next few weeks, and if he is really successful make a decision about who the starter for the remainder of the year will be. ej manuel can always start next year if freeman gives them the better chance to make the playoffs this year.
