Good thread. I agree most of the guys in the Think Tank are jokes. Winners can throw a few winning picks out, without giving away their best picks. There are hundreds of sides and totals every day. So I throw a few off sometimes and hit 55 to 12-4 ... 75%. All the think tankers were making fun of my strategy, then I killed them with my posted plays, and they haven't responded. I buried them in the contests too.

The guys in the think tank are smart. No question about it. I can understand how they wouldn't want to associate with Players Talk on a daily basis, I mean lets face it we tend to get stupid sometimes. However it would be nice from time to time to have those more eveloved members offer some insight here and there. Not saying to reveal and super secrets but offer a crumb or two of helpful imput.

I only post picks right before game time. I mainly interpret lines. Most of all this handicapping crap you hear is a waste of time and bullshit. Finding out how many yds that somebody averages per carry vs how many yds the defense gives up, etc is mainly a complete waste of time except for in a few cases and for props. They are already built into the line. The ability to interpret the lines and their movements and knowing certain situations where lines are weak is where I come up with most of my plays. There are alot of times though that my experiences and info. come into play where I can come up with a winner. I think most would say that I post alot more winners than I do losers. That being said, I think all of this us vs them is complete nonsense. I've always thought that I could benefit and profit much more if I took the time to work with some of the guys in the think tank and maybe vice versa. I think guys like Durito could help someone like me make much more than I do. I know I could sharpen up on some of my math. In reality, we should all be working together to make money as one can benefit from the other. I used to post picks just here and there. Now I post them more often because others have asked me to but I only do it after I have already placed my bets.
