sbr is funny,, they saved this place from dying this summer with the addition of the points and now let the points settle in , traffic will die down again, when its the same people logging on with 5 different ghosts and talking to themselves it gets old after awhile, good luckComment -

My theory having played at both land and "virtual" casinos quite a bit: The virtual casinos don't need to be fixed, you play so many more hands/hour that the house advantage catches up with you in a much shorter period of time. I have seen some sick stuff both in person and watching others [and myself] play online.
Its the same reason that tourney fees are so much lower for poker online - you can play so many more hands/tourneys [including multiple games] - plus no physical facility upkeep [except where the servers live], no dealer staff, etc. - even if some of us dopes win in the short run, they'll get it back if you play enough. That being said, I still play sometimes anyways -- and will enjoy my free $50 from the SBR casino.Comment -

Has anyone heard of the statistical analysis called "The Gambler's Ruin"?
If memory serves, it sort of goes like this:
1. Over the betting period, variance above and below zero will increase. In other words, your amounts "up" and your amounts "down" will get larger, further from zero.
2. Eventually, the low end will hit your "bankrupt" point, where you no longer have the capital to play AT ALL.
3. Thus, you always lose all your dough/points.
I might have hacked that up, but it's something like that.
No way to stop it, except by *not playing with all your capital*. Or of course by having a set value-gain stopping point, like if I get to +100 I am out. (So the longer you play, the more likely you will lose it all.)Comment -
I've played Blackjack in the casino and the house has a much bigger percentage advantage than one you would walk into.
Just look at busting. The cards it gets when you stand are ridiculous and if you hit a bustable hand those tens multiply. Can't say I won't play again, but I've mostly come away frustrated. I'll be betting in the sportsbook though.

I was gonna come in and pretty much type exactly this word for word. It's unbelievable. When I first started in the casino I couldn't lose. That's how it reeled me in
. I put in 50 points to screw around, got up to 140, and am now down to 40..... just betting 1 point per hand in 3-hand blackjack. Every double down it's the same thing, it comes 2 - face every single time now. LOL online casinos

It´s amazing that the ones who ´know´ that casino software is rigged are nearly always the ones who can´t stop themselves from going back.
Even is it is not rigged it is still -EV so if you are playing with the expectation of winning you are likely to be disappointed.
