can you imagine if everybody here was a paid poster and each post was worth 1$.. i swear this place would be unreadable. you'd make a post, refresh page, and you wouldn't even find your post.. it'd be on page 2 already.. people would not sleep.. they'd be posting so much so they can go gamble with it.

we already have a bunch of shut ins with 20,000 + posts who are not paid a penny. imagine if they were all paid to post??? scary just thinking of it.. no one would be able to keep up. it'd be like 3 months ago when pts were invented the 1st week, but 232x worse.. no one will read any threads, people will be just posting posting posting..

JJ gets paid. Tacomax got paid. He hasn't been around as much from what I've seen so he probably doesn't get paid anymore.

Bread gets paid $50 per article.

Hilarious how the truth can be twisted over two years time. Here is the real story. I should probably bookmark this post because I think I have explained this three times now.

Readers Digest Version:

Sportsgirl used to post her NFL column here. I know Sportsgirl, BadNina and Swede from www.americanidolconspiracy.com . Nancy (sportsgirl) said that there were some fun people at SBR and asked us to join. I wasn't interested at first but found myself bored one day so I registered. I thought it was an interesting site, considering I am married to a bettor, and gave me some insight as to how spreads work. Yes, SBR is responsible for my own gambling interest. Thanks, SBR!

Bill Dozer recognized the interest in American Idol odds and asked Nancy if she could write an article for SBR because she also writes an AI article for her paper. Due to a conflict of interest with her employer, she was unable to do so. Nancy recommended that Dozer contact me. I spoke with Dozer a few times and told him that I would like to do a "he said/she said" type of article. Which I did. Bread doing the "he said" portion.

Anyway, the article was apparently a success because it was the featured article several times on the front page. After that season ended, SBR presented an opportunity to Bread to write sports articles. If any of you nitwits ventured outside of Players Talk, you would see that his articles are posted on the front page twice a week.
