I think there is more offense in the west so no he would not have three 200 yard rushing games in the SEC. He certainly deserves though consideration of being the heisman winner though.

It would be tough to get 100 every week. He is a great player but there are 4or 5 backs in the SEC that are as good or better. They just have to face NFL defensive linemen every week. Lets see who gets more defensive personnel drafted SEC or PAC 10. I'll take SEC -3000 you can have Pac 10 +2200

Gerhart is the real deal and its not often that we get a badass white boy running back so I am on the bandwagon. However I dont think he will win the Heisman. He will probably finish 3rd behind McCoy and Ingram.

It sure will be interesting, he seems like a bull but pro ball is a different ball game and players hit much harder. College football is a sissy game compared to NFL football. I think he will hold his own but I doubt he will be a star, very rarely can a white RB excel in the NFL.

Nobody doubts the kid is a player. The point of the question was...Would he be running for 200yds a game in the SEC?? The answer is no... Do you not think the SEC has backs that couldn't replicate those numbers against weaker defenses?? I watched PAC 10 football this weekend and it is nite and day compared to the SEC. The PAC 10 has to be the worst conference of the BCS teams.
