    Be Very Wary Of Preseason Football Betting

    Most square bettors think preseason football betting is like regular season. False!

    For example did you know that teams playing on Thursday night practice together at the same time on the same field for 2 days in a row before the game?

    I'm going to see Falcons - Bengals combined practice tomorrow afternoon at Flowery Branch. I'm taking my notebook, voice recorder and camera to cap the teams. You can't cap preseason football with previous years stats. It's meaningless. You need to do it the old style way. Watch the practices, exploit team's weaknesses from personal observations. Listen to the players after the game. Plant a bug in a player's helmet to pick up any talking about irregular betting activity. The whole 9 yards! Be prepared boys!

    I have heard people say that knowing what kind of coaches the teams have goes a long ways. Some coaches want to win even though it's a preseason game, while others are just evaluating players and could care less about the score because it doesn't count.

    I don't bet preseason because I have not found a way to get an edge, but that does not mean there are not some really sharp cats out there who can crush it on preseason. Just my observations.

    I will go with Miami. Everyone loves to kick Dallas ass even in the preseason. I wouldn't trust Rome even if he was a QB in a pee wee league.
