This fight would easily be top 3 in all-time PPV buys. Huge paydays for both. Only thing I see preventing is is Money May's greed.

Has Mayweather EVER been hit like Manny is going to hit him? Paquiao showed Saturday night that he can take a punch. Freddie Roach wil have him ready to fight Mayweather.

If you watched the full 20 minute press conference of pacquiao after the fight...

Freddy Roach, Pacquiao's trainer said that he wants the pacquiao-floyd fight to happen... but if floyd wants a 65-35 split, it's not going to happen.

I think mayweather is going to demand a 65-35 split. we all know he likes low risk, high reward in his fights. Mayweather wont want to risk his undefeated record if the split isn't going to be largely in his favor..

I want the fight to happen but i dont see mayweather agreeing to 55-45 split. I think Mayweathers gonna demand 65-35 split... and Pacquiaos promoter and trainer already said in the press conference that it isnt going to happen that way.

Mayweather will dominate. I still want to see the fight but i dont think they will come to agreeable terms on the money anytime soon.

Floyd doesnt get hit. so the answer is no. And imo, roach cant teach manny any new tricks it will take to beat Floyd. Manny is a sproadic brawler. I see floyd being to smart defensivley and picks Manny apart. I just dont think that a balls out offensive attack will work against the best defender in the sport.

I think Manny will take it at 35-40% rake. He is not subject to US taxes. He had those hard fights a few years back and was making less than a mil per bout. Even at 35% he could net 20 mil and that is like a zillion-billion dollars in the Philippines. Plus.....if its close there will be a rematch. cha-ching again!

I would very much agree with that breakdown but would just add that Manny can be hard to hit too when he wants to be and I think he could 'want to be' in this one. I see it as a very tactical fight that is not exciting unless you love no hitters. It goes to the score card where Floyd will get the nod because of harder punches and legend status.

Floyd's defense is too good. Manny will not be able to hit Floyd. Mayweather is too good.

And i already said, listen to Freddy Roach and pacmans agent in the postfight press conference. They said the fight WILL NOT happen if mayweather demands a 65-35 split.

And guess what... that's exactly what mayweather will demand.

I want to see the fight but im not getting my hopes up. Boxing is more than a sport.. its a business. Floyd mayweather is not only the worlds best fighter, he is a businessman. Pacmans probably gonna bid himself out and the fights not gonna happen for at least a little while.

Mayweather/Pac should be a 50/50 split. Mayweather is far too greedy to agree to that however.
