first off, everybody knows we want to see that fight. but you have to understand that boxing is just as much a business as a sport. Mayweather will not fight pacquiao unless he gets a high percentage of the money... im thinking at least 2/3.

If pacquiao marches in there and starts demanding half the money and bids himself out, we will not see the fight.

they call him "money mayweather" for a reason. pacquiao will have to accept a split that is in mayweathers favor in order for the fight to happen.. also we all know floyd likes low-risk fights.

I want to see the fight but im not convinced its going to happen. you gotta understand how boxing works

im thinking the only reason mayweather wouldnt be -200...

pacquiao is most popular fighter right now... so would bring in a lotof pacquiao money...

but let's be serious... pacquiao could not beat mayweather

For sure Manny is the best prepared. Have you noticed he gets better with every fight? A lot better. Does Floyd still have the fire? Manny does. If they fight Manny will be ready. It could be a very tactical fight that does not live up to the hype, both are great defensive fighters.

It would be a mega-fight all the way. Hard to top the marketing effort for Mayweather-De La Hoya when it happened but has a chance of being a better fight than that one at least.

Mayweather is not exactly an action fight. It would be hyped but would disappoint like the DeLaHoya fight.

Manny would knocked Mayweather into the middle of next. Mayweather's only recent success has come on "Dancng with the Stars". If he does "man up" and fight Manny he'd be seeing stars. Mayweather's a dancer, not a fighter.

Manny says last night that he is going on vacation and that if the fight happens it's up to the promoters, but you guys come in here with that BS about Mayweather needing to man up. mayweather came out of retirement to make big money on a fight against paq. It will happen, unless mayweather wants too much of the purse, like 2/3.

Let's be realistic. It would be a one-sided beating from Mayweather. Probably not a knockout, but unamimous decision probably 8rnds-4rounds or 9-3.
