Bread & Matty Rain, pre-Miami festivities.

We didn't go to a club. We bought a portable CD player for $13 in a pawn shop and a couple of beach chairs so we could watch the ocean and listen to Bjork while a storm was approaching. The weather got too nasty at some point, so we retreated to a very colorful beach bar with all our gear and clothes newly covered in water and sand. Then I got the urge to play Ms. Pacman while our cab driver was waiting for us outside. Said cab driver was so enthralled with us that he very nearly missed hitting a lady motorcyclist. I saw a pet store advertising Sidney Crosby jerseys. Robyn honked at us while we were watching a ghostly lady dance in the street. Later that night, I found God with the help of Wide-Eyed Nick Nolte. Is God still trying to be hip? might well be the only question that mankind needs to answer.

I say not really.
