chris paul has more talent than iverson had on any of the 76er teams. chris paul is amazing dont get me wrong but he is a totally different player than iverson. i cant see chris paul putting a team on his back and leading them to the finals

Iverson is a team killer could not win gold in the '04 Olympics because of him and Marbury.
I wouldn't put him in. I don't care what stats he put up.
Here's a stat: 42.6% career from the field.
another stat: 3.6 turnovers per game
And he was 6 feet tall. I'm not putting him in because he was a tough midget or something, because it isn't true.
He shot a lot, scored a lot, had a bad attitude, and was a selfish player who generally made teams worse. He made Denver worse. He made Detroit worse.
He had success in Philly because they catered to him and let him run the place.
Was he talented? Sure. Stephon Marbury was also talented.
You think it's a coincidence that the one Olympic team he made had one of the worst finishes in USA men's basketball history?[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

He makes his teammates better.
AI will make the Hall of Fame, IMO, but I wouldn't vote for him.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#40Lets not get crazy with the comparisons. Marbury is a scrub, so that's not fair. CP3 is great, I agree with your estimation of his potential, but he's a true point guard, his job is to make others better. AI was never a true PG, his job was to score. Those Philly teams were well coached great defensive teams, the only guy on the floor who could create his own shot was AI, the only other semi functional scorer was Mashburn. Without AI those teams don't go to the playoffs never mind finals of any kind. Whether he's 6'0 or 6'1 with shoes on doesn't matter, he's the best small man since Isiah and maybe until CP3.Comment
