#12As much as I hate to say it...he is. I hate those numbers because his PPG is skewed due to the amount of shots a game he threw up and his FG pct is AWFUL.Comment -

#15He probably will but does not deserve it at all, basically makes the hall of fame because he played on bad teams and took so many shots.Comment -

#19cmon dad... iverson is the best offensive player, under 6', to ever touch a basketball. how you wanna go and ask a silly question like this?Comment -

#20His ability relative to his size is irrelevant, Iverson shot a low percentage from all over the floor including the line, there are a lot of guys who could put up his numbers if they played the minutes and looked to shoot as much as him.
There are so many guys who were great in the late 90's who fell off the face of the earth like Walker, Abdur Rahim, Marbury, Van Horn, Francis etc. Iverson was better than those guys but you have to understand that who could not have the type of success he did in todays league because the overall talent level is higher. This was an unprecedented era of talent dropoff, when else do you see guys go from all stars to scrubs before they turn 30 years old?Comment -

#22Iverson was a bulldog and tough as nails in his prime. Some nights I'd be watching him and just be amazed at his ability to drive the lane and get a bucket. He didn't take shit from anybody. Yeah, he ran hot and cold, but his resume is golden. 1st ballot easily.Comment -

#23Iverson being under 6 foot is a myth, he is one of the few players that actually is his listed height, Maurice Williams and Chris Paul are shorter than Iverson and are better than he ever was.Comment -

#24Allen Iverson was listed 6'1 at Georgetown and measured 6'0 barefoot at the combine, he is listed at his barefoot height compared to most player exaggerated by 1-2 inches.Comment -

#25As I said, first ballot. Yes, his stats are a bit inflated due to shitty teams and low percentage shots but PPG and total points speak for themselves at the end of the day. He was definitely a great scorer.Comment -

#35they were great defensive teams, even better with Iverson on the bench, I think that team that lost in the Finals went 4-0 with Iverson injured, they also had pound for pound coaching as well had a lot to do with it.
Iverson is a team killer could not win gold in the '04 Olympics because of him and Marbury.Comment
