The economy of the Midwest is in the crapper and the population is shifting to the West and Southeast. There are less good recruits in the Midwest and most of the prospects that are there would rather play in the warm, sunny, and thriving SEC/Pac-10/Big 12/ACC than a school in the cold, declining Northeast/Midwest. Charlie Weis is more worried about how tall their grass is on the field than getting talent. At least I'll know who to call if I need some landscaping done around the house.
