If they are paying, even if it's money they got from new deposits, I think that reflects that we're dealing with a book that is trying to pay.
I'm a regular player, who played there for a long time. I have gotten assurances that I will get a payout Monday. I will update the forum, but so far, Lenny has generally been keeping his promised payout dates for me, with a couple of exceptions. If he continues to pay, I think we need to be careful before everyone gives up on this book. I'll keep you guys posted.Comment -

#83Tofu,
A bit less than a month. I would recommend these things:
*Consider withdrawing 75-80% of your balance rather than the entire amount.
*Ask Bill or Bigboydan to enquire on your behalf. Just to show Lenny that someone from SBR is watching your case.
*While calling cascade, deal with Monica only. She’s in charge of CS and can speed up things.
Tell me if you need Lenny/Monica’s emails or phone numbers.
Good luckComment -

#84After reading these stories of Cascade withdrawals, I decided to withdraw some of my balance for the first time. I submitted the withdrawal on Saturday (today is Tuesday) and haven't received any email notification and my balance has not been reduced yet.
Now I understand that it may take a while to receive the money. I just wanted to make sure that it's standard procedure to not receive any notification of the withdrawal (unlike a lot of other sites where it is instantaneous).
I will keep this forum posted as to when/if I receive any correspondence and hopefully a check. Good luck to everyone else awaiting payment.

Overall she did told me my name on top of the pending list so I the $ available she'll send it to me.

#88First time poster here (people might know me from the Covers NBA forum).
I am also waiting for either a sportsbook transfer or a check from Cascade.
On Superbowl weekend I requested a 5k withdrawal from them and got it in 45 days.
All the while they were realy up front with me, when I requested the withdrawal they informed me it would be a long time since I was 87 on the list and they could only do 5 checks a day.
I just requested two new withdrawals last week (check and B2B).
I told Jim from Customer Service that I expected a check to take at least that long, but he kept assuring me it would be shorter because the list wasn't as long right now as it was right after the Superbowl.
He did say they weren't doing B2B transfers at the moment, this is all consistent with what they state on their main page.
The fact that I still hear fairly dependable reports about people receiving checks (their only payment method, as it states on the front page) leads me to believe everybody will be okay as long as you have enough patience to wait 1-2 months for a check.
If they were going under they would stop doing payments and answering the phone all together, right?
It sucks to have to wait for your money that long, but that's more due to the US government than because of sportsbooks, with Neteller bailing out of the US market the books are getting less money in and the cash flow dries up.
Let's hope Barney Frank and the WTO can turn this back.
I'll keep you updated about my situation, and hope that Bill or Bigboydan can make a difference if it gets to a point I have reason to feel less certain I'll eventualy get my money.Comment -

#95Another Broken Promise from Cascade
Well Lenny just told me he cannot send a check out today. Still claims he has no processor. When I reminded him he told me he had a processor last week. He said he misspoke. Sounds like he has told so many people so many different stories he cannot keep track of them any more. When I told him I saw on the message boards he paid some people he denied it. New date is Monday.Comment -

#101Hi cloudagh,
We will check with Cascade on what they feel the outlook is, probably on Monday.
There have only been a few payments totaling around 50,000 and no infusion of cash. Everyone is hopeful there is some resources that takes a while to be tapped but it is looking worse each day.Comment -

#102One thing I have noticed is there is still a relatively decent number of tickets (i.e. bets) being done on their system, nearly 7,000 a day over the past 10 days - assuming the ticket numbers are sequential.
I don't know if any significance can be attached to this. It would seem to indicate some people have the confidence to carry on using them (of course those people may have little choice if most of their funds are tied up there).
I don't think this volume can be attributed to people trying to scalp out.Comment -

#103There is no scalping possible with Cascade. People are betting there (me included) because the time investment is small and the possibility of the winnings being paid is non-zero. To scalp you need to have reasonable confidence that both sites are reliable. As for scalping out, the concept is a bit silly, even if you are pro-rating the dollars. An example would be betting 3k at cascade, and $300 on the other side elsewhere.Comment -
