That's my attitude, after all losing online or losing in Vegas is the same thing...but I can count on one thing in Vegas, when I win I get paid...I don't want to end up like some guys here having the winnings confiscated overnight by some crooked betting sites...

Sounds like you're going to swing for the fences and go back home if you don't hit that nice upswing? Whatever you decide to do, I say make a plan in advance and stick to it once you're there. Good luck btw! My first betting experience in Vegas didn't go so well... I went 1-12, all of them 2-teamers... good thing I wasn't betting big.

5k is not anywhere near a large enough bankroll to play off and earn a decent living in that town. Build your roll to 50K-100k first, then consider making the move. The extra cushion is absolutely necessary for the inevitable downswings. Even if you have had no losing weeks or months recently, you absolutely will at some point. Start by taking a few trips out there first and grinding your way up.

5K isn't enough but what amount is?? I wish you luck but it has to be tough. My advice is lower your expectations. You want to double your bankroll first month??? That is unrealistic. Make a dime or two be happy.

How about betting 5k on the 1st game. That will still give you your best chance of doubling your bankroll in a month and it will only take one day.

I'm afraid 5k won't be enough. You would need at least 20k. My advice is 50k but hey I don't suggest Vegas for betting. Vegas lines are weird. Matchbook is much better than LV in terms of betting..

To make 5k a month profit betting sports realistically you need to put around 250k into action a month winning at a very attainable 2% ROI.

This would be a little more then 8k in action a day.

That is the first and most important question you must ask yourself. Can you get 8k in action down a day?

go there bet 4k...when you realize you've lost your 4k. Do the smart thing...spend your 1k on the best hooker available. **** try to get 2 hookers for that money...bang the **** out of them and go home...happy.

Make sure you have a steak (I suggest the magnum cut filet) at NI9E Steakhouse at the Palms. The lobster bisque is incredible there also.

Oh and if a really hot chick starts throwing game at you at the center bar @ the Wynn, she's hooking.
