How much the points system is costing SBR daily

I think they are making up the cost of the points system, by selling our phone #'s to book's(such as bookmaker), and selling our email addresses. Can a mod or someone in the know confirm or deny this? I doubt it cause its true.

The reason you are getting calls and e-mails from books is because you suck at gambling and you lose your deposits. Books want losing bettors like yourself to sign up because they will make money off you. I haven't received any calls or e-mails from any books since I signed up here. Do the math guy!

Also, I couldn't care less if SBR is selling my info. I get a free pizza every 21 days for being a valued member here. You are very naive if you don't know that selling personal info is a very huge and profitable business. Have you ever received junk mail or spam e-mails Einstein?

i couldn't get one in canada yesterday, it was only a pizza but was really looking forward to it,,,not complaining sbr,,, i love this site,,,,if pizza isn't available in canada i will just start giving my points away here and there, it will probably take 3 years to get a laptop,,everyone at sbr is great

Simple folks if they stick around long enough they will be like a small country with their very own currency. and just think guys if we help them make that currency worth something then someday it migh be traded on the forex against th almighty dollar and they will be able to get spnosorship deals so they wont even actually have to pruchase anything that we are getting via the points system. yeah maybe "dominoes" will donate those pizzas.(then pavy's theory is partially out the window as there will be know reall need to put a note valuw on it just a value that shows effort within the sbr system) They might be able to use our very own energy as in posting and in-site surfing for the impressions and well then it's like the commercials that you see everyday. they might even throw in a commercial or 2 at SBRtV. And guess who will be there Dominoes or the highest bidder? Those are just the tips of the huge iceberg that wel run around in circle on. Hmmm.. sounds like they shouldnt have a hard time keeping upi with at all.
Why would they sell our info, when they (sbr) know that if we found out we would leave their system. This holds true easily when the books could just as well pay someone to troll the forums and get this info for themselves. Which sounds like it has the founds to lose.

2. a few c notes to someone (from a book) to go to a forum and tell themn whats going on.

I would be willing to say that #2 is more likely then #1 SBR needs us and the books want that information (im sure) so teh books would pay one way or another.

In the early days spam and "mining the database" were in vogue and preached by internet gurus. In the last few years spam has been a very low yield affair therefore the databases are less valuable.

I'm not a saint and for sure this is a business although its a rather cool business. What I'm saying is the smart play for SBR is to guard the database and never compromise it and that includes not spaming to it even with SBR content. Thats why 10 years later we still do not have a newsletter. We talk about it every year. Maybe next year we will give in and someone can pull up this post and do a - gotch ya!.
