This is drop in the bucket to them. How much do you think site makes?

Contest money is chump change for this site and usually put up by sponsors anyway.

All I stated is how much it costs. I am not an investor at SBR to determine if it's financially savvy. Isn't the CFO's job to figure this out? I'm just a poster here trying to make ends meet.

pavy, you have to look at what they actually are paying.

The points are meaningless unless they're used.

If everyone pooled their points and ordered 100 pizzas, SBR would take a hit. In reality, there are a few pizzas being ordered a day along with a few things from the store.

you need to post 21 days to earn it..thats why most of us bet them away

Its basically a loyalty program that we want to have a LOT of fun with. We want you guys to be able to do whatever you want with them. Kind of like Bubba with his shrimp. You can book them, redeem them, bet them, give them away and soon you can bet them in parlays and teasers in the new sportsboook....catch my breath here, you can bet them in the new casino and after that you can one day bet them at SBRPoker and on the horses! phew... think that about covers it.

Chances are the sbr points poker will be up and running long before betjams poker "coming soon" opens. What has it been, 4 years or so?

Casinos offer player cards. They aren't doing it out of the goodness of their heart. SBR's forward-thinking here is a business decision that could be brilliant provided they accurately project expenses and attain the desired revenue from the program.

I think they are making up the cost of the points system, by selling our phone #'s to book's(such as bookmaker), and selling our email addresses. Can a mod or someone in the know confirm or deny this? I doubt it cause its true.

my question is when the forum begins to be flooded with points will they raise the prices of items in the store..otherwise a few guys that are raking in the points from bets will be getting tvs and laptops everyday

I'm in the know. SBR has never sold, traded or in any way given out user info. We don't believe in it and we don't send spam ourselves. Thats a 10 year track record. If a book has your info the only real lock you will ever have is knowing that they did not get it from SBR.

Simple folks if they stick around long enough they will be like a small country with their very own currency. and just think guys if we help them make that currency worth something then someday it migh be traded on the forex against th almighty dollar

and they will be able to get spnosorship deals so they wont even actually have to pruchase anything that we are getting via the points system. yeah maybe "dominoes" will donate those pizzas.

(then pavy's theory is partially out the window as there will be know reall need to put a note valuw on it just a value that shows effort within the sbr system) They might be able to use our very own energy as in posting and in-site surfing for the impressions and well then it's like the commercials that you see everyday. they might even throw in a commercial or 2 at SBRtV. And guess who will be there Dominoes or the highest bidder? Those are just the tips of the huge iceberg that wel run around in circle on. Hmmm.. sounds like they shouldnt have a hard time keeping upi with at all.
Why would they sell our info, when they (sbr) know that if we found out we would leave their system. This holds true easily when the books could just as well pay someone to troll the forums and get this info for themselves. Which sounds like it has the founds to lose.
1. SBR selling the info
2. a few c notes to someone (from a book) to go to a forum and tell themn whats going on.

I would be willing to say that #2 is more likely then #1 SBR needs us and the books want that information (im sure) so teh books would pay one way or another.
