Green Bay will be nowhere close to scoring 41 points.....they wont be able to run the ball, which means they will become one dimensional, and Minny's D line that means pressure on A Rodgers...
Not sure which way to go on this game, but I dont think it will be that high scoring...

if it were more in the +250 and up range, id consider it....but when I saw the line was moving up and betjam still had Minn at -4 (at -110) I jumped on that.

The line is moving up for a reason. There is a kiss of death theory in play there...line moves up for Minny, you take Packers ats as high as they'll give you, all the way to the bank. If the public was right more often than not, bookies wouldn't exist. Take Packers ats.

I have managed to pick the worst bets the last few days
West Virginia -16.5 L 35.24
Chicago Cubs -150 L 12-3
Michigan +4 L 26-20
Mich. $ Line L 26-20
NC State + 3 L 30-24
Colorado U 28.5 2nd L 21-9
Titans -3 L 37-17
Parlay Bengals Ravens Titans L,L,L
Dallas 2nd half pick L
Pittsburgh under game L
and would have been all over Minnesota today(even though I live in Wisconsin), so everyone take note. It's funny, this happens to me once every year but I still can't get myself to play the opposite. When it happens though, it's like clockwork. Everything I touch turns to Sh*t.

I like the input I see on this thread so far. For those doubting the Packers you will see tonight how good of a qb Rogers is. I think on turf that offense is going to play even faster. I'm not to concerned about AP as long as the Packers can keep him away from hitting the big HR. The packers D is not bad in itself, it may of had some slip ups against Cincy, but they looked solid against Chicago making Cutler throw into a lot of interceptions. This is a game the Packers are gonna be exremely up for looking to not stick it to farve. There is way to much press around the Vikings swaying public percption. Really liking Packers ML!

Favre is passed his prime and plus he aint gonna play good tonight against the Packers. Rogers is the one who is gonna have a HUGE night. I bet Favre will throw 3 interceptions and trust me the Packers are well aware of Peterson. The Packers know Favre all too well and what to watch for, and it will show tonight. PACKERS ML and PACKERS+5

I like it. Farve is also banged up and a couple good hits will get to him tonight. The Packers are coming into this game highly motivated knowing that all the media is against them covering the Farve story. If the Packers do lose it will be by some unfortunate game winning fg, but I really couldn't even see that. + anything in this game is golden. I'm surprised they don't have this as a pick em. I guess the public is just POUNDING the Vikes.

I completely disagree. The Chargers last night and the Packers tonight are playing in two totally different scenarios and settings. The Chargers had never won a game in Pitt going into last night. The Steelers also had obvious advantages in multiple spots on the field. The Vikings tonight, if anything are the sexy pick. Everyone wants to bet Farve tonight and predict the great performance against his old team. The Packers are the scary pick to a lot of people. Publicly people think the Vikings are just gonna dominate. I really don't think so. I think Farve is gonna come into this game way to overhyped and will begin making mistakes and throwing interceptions. Lets not forget how many turnovers Farve can create. I think him throwing a game winning pass last week couldn't of been more timely in terms of creating the line for this game. The whole public now believes Farve is unbeatable and that is under some major false pretense.

Im actually gonna hit the UNDER 47 for my big play tonight. The Vikings wanna out muscle the Packers and control the game vs playing a shootout game against a potent Rogers. IF the Packers can somewhat contain Peterson then that will chew up alot of time as well. I think both teams will be a little tenative on slinging the ball right away because of the importance of this game. Rogers should get forced into throwing short routs because of the pressure. I really dont see 47 points being scored tonight. Hit the UNDER!!!

I can't come to a decision on this game for either side or o/u I'm totally clueless, usually in the past I would just throw a bet in for action, but as of late I have been more patient it has paid off tremendously for me. I'll pass and just watch for entertainment purposes only. GL everybody !

What is the publics love affair with the Packers? They did finish 5-11 last season.
