I play poker mainly on SB. I know over 20 of the biggest players on that site. Many of them have gotten money or know someone who has gotten money.. All through bankwires. And most of them very recently. Just stick it out another 2 weeks before you guys go totally crazy.. I have money stuck in Neteller also. And you see that even that money is coming to us at some point. Dont wager more than you can afford to lose...

Point of the last line of the post was that you should be able to afford whatever was deposited into the account. If you deposited more than you can afford then that is a problem.

Also I am not saying it is ok that this happened. I just see it getting blown out of proportion. People are getting their money. They are being slow about it. But people should not over worry on such a small time frame. I have money in neteller and im positive that i will see that money and hell its been almost 4 months now..

The best proof is for those who receive wires to inform the rest of us when you got it and when you had it sent... This should calm people down....

I've been following this thing from the start. On Feb 20th I tried to Withdraw about 9k from these guys, and like the rest of the people on here, I have been getting the lies, run around, and bs for almost two months. It's been very stressful.

On March 17th, I started the ********** process with my credit card company. I called the number on the back of the card and was basically honest with them about the whole situation. They issued temporary credit on my card and told me to fill out the paperwork they would be sending me in a couple of days. I followed through with this about 5-7 days ago.

Today, when I tried to login in to my account, the screen read that my account had been disabled and that I needed to call an 800 number they provided.

I called and was informed that they had to pay my bank $2000 dollars in chargebacks and that my account would be disabled until I Western Unioned them back the $2000 dollars. I reminded the cs lady that I'm still owed 9k from them and that if they had been upfront and honest with me I would not have even looked into the chargbacks. In total I charged back about 15k, so the rest should be getting processed soon.

After arguing with this dumb bitch, I simply stated the irony of the Western Union thing. They want me to send them 2k, but they can't, haven't been able to pay me for nearly 8 weeks. What a joke?

I'm pretty sure my wire has been canceled, which was processed on March 19th, and obviously I had not recieved it.

I really feel that one of the most disturbing facets to this thread is that not one SBR rep is providing any info or apparently working on our behalf. I requested a $500.00 withdrawal on the 21st of March and still hadn't heard anything like the rest of you. However, I have faith that they're doing their best to identify a third party to transact our funds to us.

Give it some time. Besides, no use in stressing yourself out. It'll resolve itself due in time. We know that their reputation is pretty good given the fact that they're advertised on ESPN, USA Today, etc., and they are traded publicly on the London Stock Exchange: SBT.L

They used to be traded on the stock exchange. They sold off this portion that included paradise poker emails for $1 so that the parent company could avoid litigation. Also why do you think they are sending money though multiple banks except to avoid detection of the funds source???????

Ya big razor is definately right. just type sportsbook in usa today search and the whole story is right there. I might try to contact espn and yahoo if i dont receive my funds (see if they have anything to say).. Just to let them know they are advertising a shade ball ran shit hole.

Big razor im hoping the fact that they are sending it through multiple banks is what's causing the delay. It makes sense (sort of). 3-4 different international banks would take a while. Only in country wires take 2-3 days. When i called my bank they said naturally an international bank wire could take 7-10 days with no problems (LaSalle). But I'm still shitting my pants till i see this money in my bank account.

Some good news to share:

I requested a check withdrawal on March 26th, got an email that a check was sent on April 2nd and received my check today by DHL. The check is from Interbill Ltd in Las Vegas.

I have been working with a very helpful supervisor at sb and here's the info on checks: Checks under $1000 are being sent by DHL. Now it is not clear as to what the "processing" time is - like I said, it helps to talk to a CS supervisor and not just a regular rep to expedite your processing. But once DHL checks are sent out, it takes 3-5 days - in this case mine arrived in 4 days from the email. Out of interest, I went on dhl.com and entered the tracking number on my envelope - the package left from Las Vegas on 4/5/07 (3 days after my "sent" email) and was at my door today (California).

Checks over $1000 can only be sent by regular mail. My guess is that DHL will not insure any shipment for more than $1,000. The CS supervisor believes that checks will actually arrive sooner than the wires would which is why he recommended that option to me. Now, since the DHL shipment left from Las Vegas, I am guessing that the regular mail shipment would leave from Las Vegas also, so it shouldn't take 2-3 weeks, unless Interbill just holds on to the money for a while before sending it - wouldn't be surprising. However, the CS supervisor I have been speaking with thought it would be less than 2 weeks though he didn't want to give me a false guarantee.

So that's my situation. I'll post again when (hopefully) I receive the check. I wouldn't charge back at this point based on the fact that myself and others have gotten checks and Trun's, Mark's, and other's wires have hit. SB wouldn't pay selectively, it's either pay or no-pay. Seems like they are in "pay, but slowly" mode.

Don't waste your time I hate poker or any card game... That is just plain nuts... As far as the Deposits and Withdraws that is a DUUUUHHHH question... Does the money come RIGHT OUT of your account when you deposit NO.. When I use my check ********** it takes a few days to hit my account.. He said (just like others have posted already) that they ran into different problems with the first batch of wires. What is unknown is what dates fall into the "first batch" - in my opinion definitely everything before the 20th of March. As far as he knows the later batches of wires had less problems, but he didn't say that it was problem-free.

If you requested a check, I would call in and ask to speak with a CS supervisor, don't bother with the regular folks or chat. Try these senior supervisors: Dax @ ext. 2051, Jack @ 2034 and Nelson @ 2024. Have them add your check to the list of checks to be sent out.
