so i guess someone from sportsbook.com hacked into their e-mail account and sent that just to trick me. So looks like everything your saying is patently untrue. That's why you can't beleive a majority of the people on here, they all think they know something. LOL

and yet they write a column on financial matters and you post on SBR forums with your anecdotal evidence. i guess they make the most of their ignorance. this is not the only place i've read this too. washington post had an article with the same thrust but i couldn't locate it online. point is, do whatever you want to. i'll deposit using CC. but i could care less at this point, because...

i just checked my mail and i received my check for 15k. the processor looks to be SEB something or other from germany and the check is dated april 4, 2007. i requested the withdrawal on 3/15 and received word that the check had been sent by regular mail on 3/29. it looks like the time frames that SB provides are all screwy, but the important thing is that they are truly sending them out.

i was also the one who received a check by DHL for 1k last friday. it looks like withdrawals for more than 10k go out by this german processor and for more than 1k go out by interbill. anyone get a check in the middle of this range? looks like chargebacks are out of the question at this point. for me, at least.

oh yeah, i'll add this. the check was not sent via courier or any type of special method. it was in a plain white envelope. i initially thought it was junk mail. if you have a check coming for a sizable amount, be careful of junk mail you throw away.

GREAT NEWS!!! OK EVERYONE LOOK... Many people are getting paid!!! These are the cashouts that were the earliest sent out after the "lost wires".

So it should be like ChiGoldCoast Suggests, A few more weeks. Give it time!!!! I suggest closing your computers for a week then coming back next Friday and read about how many people got cashouts then!!!

CC chargebacks will only complicate the ordeal.. Plus it is REALLLY dumb if you are chargebacking less money than you are owed!!!

Im positive, but if things are not improved by April 20th or so.. We should look into other options.. I have a feeling they will improve and in about 3 weeks we might as well have forgot about this mess!!!

more then half i'd say, probably like 94% are experiancing ridiculous delays. Mine was placed a couple days after, they pulled the we need your bank info, but i think they might have just been stalling in order to get the new processor going. Did anyone else have to send in info during that time?

Pleased to report that I also received a check today. In particular, one for $6k from the SEB AG processor in Germany. Still waiting on the $1k one that I requested a couple days later, and obviously haven't tried to cash this one yet, but at least something has arrived.

Boobie -- check got sent out on mar 29th, allegedly (according to email), although I got conflicting stories from CS, and a supervisor told me she thought it was actually slated for the very first batch this past week. So, I'm pleasantly surprised with how quickly it arrived -- I actually only went out to check once others posted about receiving theirs, and it did come in a very nondescript plain white envelope. Postmark on the envelope and info in the documentation says it was mailed from the US on Apr 4th, and if I interpret the reference number correctly, the German processor actually processed it on Apr 3rd. So all that is consistent with it actually being in a batch from early this week.

And, of course, if that's true, then from the time it was *genuinely* sent off by Linesmaker for processing, the check actually arrived in 4 days. About the same as it used to back in the good old days. It feels like frickin Christmas. Except that I won't celebrate until after I actually cash it, of course.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just find it so weird that csreps are saying wires will be processed faster. And that checks will be sent in like 3 weeks. When we have proof here that it was taken care of in am atter of a week or so. Quite the predicament.

It is because all of the checks received today were processed a few days later then all of us who have been waiting since the beginning of all this shit started. But at least this proves they aren't going anywhere at least not this second.

i've been waiting for 7 business days now just to get my check "processed" first they said 48hrs, then they said by the end of the following week... this week they are saying it will be processed something this coming week. Jerkoffs!!!

I found that talking with a supervisor not only helped me get a halfway believeable (and nonform letter) explanation of what was going on, but also she tried to get my check prioritized. Now I have no idea whether that actually helped the speed of the process, since many others also seem to be on the same timetable. Could be worth a try if you haven't already. If you have, well, I don't know what to tell ya, except that I hope you get your $ quickly....

not trying to argue, more pointing out that always seems whether its good or bad info it never seems like the full truth, or there is always contradicting reports. I mean the only reason i haven't written this money off is i don't think most on here are bs receiving stuff, maybe a few, but not most.

I can verify that Scott received his check today. His was for a check requested on March 26th and received today, April 7.

My bank wire was requested on March 22, and I seem to be part of the select majority that didn't receive any money by bank wire from that time period.

I spoke to Scott James on the telephone before he received his check and he was just as pissed as I am (if that's possible). I'm happy for him and it just makes me think there's bullshit going on that we know nothing about. I'm sure that my piles of wire transfers are sitting on someone's desk either at sportsbook.com's office at some funk bank somewhere.

Although Scott's check offers some hope it frankly really makes me wonder what the hell is going on because they told us bank wires were quicker.

I still write my money off. It ain't coming or it would have been here by now. Period.
