Z, i agree with a lot of what you're saying here.. I respect a lot of your plays in the SEC cause I know you, like me, love the SEC.. Most of the public will see it as an upset.. And while i do believe S. Carolina has a good chance, it'll still be a tough battle.. With Giles and Maddox getting a running game, lifting some of the load off of Garcia, he still needs to play a mistake free game.. But even more than Garcia, i worry about our special teams play on Thursday night.. They have looked horrible to me.. I have no worries about our D, but if Miss returns punts and kickoffs to great feild position, well our D can only do so much.. Lets hope they have their sh*t togeather tomorrow.. I'll once again be there in person to watch us live, lets just hope i'm as happy after the game as i am heading into the stands before it..

I like SC as well in this spot. They have played a couple decent teams while Miss hasn't played anybody good yet. That might help SC jump on them early.

Never have much luck with the Ol Ball Coach, but I'll take him in this spot.

spurrier usually comes up with a great upset win per year and other than that average to below average performances...this will not be that game though...rebels -whatever and under whatever is the play.

hit the over on this one fellas - the d in the SEC this year has been laughable. unless it's mississippi state or vanderbilt, the old adage about SEC unders no longer applies. although the side is tempting, the total is the best play, imo. i expect ole miss to get out early and for south carolina to be playing catch-up the last three quarters. this is exactly like fresno / boise from last week - over hit by halftime almost. drink up and have fun watching the game! should be a good one!

Z...I have mulled this game over and over in my mind and just can't quite get a feeling on it. I think that is in part due to the fact that I have seen SC play and haven't seen Ole Miss. Yes Spurrier can coach college ball but so can Nutt. Give me your reasonings please.

i will say that houston nutt is a huge choke artist...later on this season jevan snead may have a game where he plays out of his mind and his coach will fvck it up for him...not 2moro night though imo.

I just watched the first offensive and defensive series of each team in their last outing; I felt like this was a good point of comparison since both teams that Miss and SC faced were pretty even (as in, they're not good teams). Here's what I noticed:

1. QB wise, I think they're about even, but Garcia has been sacked much more this season (consider the competition).

2. Running backs, I give the slight edge to Miss. SC has the edge on speed, but Miss has strength and durability in their running back corp. The question is whether SC's running back can take a lick and still run at the same clip the whole game. Miss' running back Bolden has the benefit of having a huge O-line to make holes for him.

3. Kicking game, slight edge to Miss (100% vs. 88%).

4. 13 more seniors on Miss' squad. Miss also has more Freshmen as well by double digits.

5. What impresses me most is how the O-line played; it's reported that Ole Miss' squad is all over 300lbs each.

I think I'm siding with Ole Miss.
