SEC will knock 1 team out of the BCS Chamoionship maybe, but 1 team seems to always make it.
While the SEC and BIG 12 among other conferences are playing a Conference Championship.... you have The BIG 10 and PAC-10 who don't which while it helps them somewhat, it kills them when you have 2 top 5-10 teams playing that week and it jumps them over idle teams from the BIG 10 and PAC-10.

Time for a reality check boys and girls. The SEC is really down this year, so 'Bama and Florida should have no trouble running the table. Upsets can and do happen, but I think that the winner of the SEC Championship game between these two will be one team in the NC game. Texas has the inside track for the other spot, but their schedule is considerably more difficult. They have OU, a game at Missouri, and a game at Oklahoma State in a row. If they get past that, they should cruise into the title game.
As far as Boise State is concerned, the handwriting is already on the wall. The latest Coaches poll has them behind 1 loss Va.Tech and USC. If both of those teams should lose again, then they would drop behind Cincinnati, Ohio State,or any BCS Conference team with 1 loss. The ONLY way Boise makes it into the big game is for every team except one to lose two games. That is the way the deck is stacked.Comment -

AS I correctly posted backin October, Texas should be home free. Nebraska may have a good defense, but their offense is terrible. We now KNOW that an undefeated SEC team will be the 'Horns opponents. I thought that it would be Alabama until this weekend. Alabama looked rather poor against Auburn, while Florida could have scored 50 against Florida State if they choose to. Ofcourse the one thing we learned this weekend is just how bad the ACC is compared to the SEC.Comment -

Agreed. Let's look at LSU for an example. Florida beats them 13-3 when the offensive line had to keep reminding Tebow what his name was. Alabama wins by less points at home, without any injury problems. Alabama crushes Arkansas, and Florida needs help from the officials to get past the Hogs.
