take Penn St off this list, they have played no one and still struggle to score points. Once again when they start playing top teams they will fall because they will not be able to score any points. When you struggle to score on teams like Temple you know you have no chance to win a national championship. Its the same thing with Penn St and Ohio St every year, they look good playing their weak ass early schedules and in the down Big 10 and then get stomped by top teams out of conference.

Alabama may be the best team in the country. They can go toe to toe with Florida.
Can't count out Cal yet either.

Umm well this could all change if everyone loses a game...and it looks like it could be one of those years.

Don't discount the efforts of Boise State especially if they run the table - and they very well could. All they do is win, game after game. Stranger things have happened.

Boise is going to get killed in strength of schedule once their conference schedule starts up. They need some of the teams in that conference to knock off some more big boys.

.......50-50 they will lose next week to Iowa.
Hopefully Iowa will have 3 injured offensive players back for this game.....all-american OT Bulaga, TE Moeki, and WR Johnson............without them, this offense is very average, at best.
However, this Iowa team has a very solid defense and is leaving off right where they did in the second half of last season when they were dominant................................ .an above average DL, top 15 linebacking crew in the nation, and a secondary that is probably top ten material led by cornerback Spivey and interception hound Tyler Sash.

Boise would need to schedule three bcs conference schools on their schedule before they could even be in the national championship picture. They would also need at least two of those schools to be ranked throughout the year.
Look at their schedule
Oregon, Miami Ohio, Fresno St, Bowling Green, UC Davis (they have a football team?), Tulsa, Hawaii, San Jose St, Lousiana Tech, Idaho, Utah St, Nevada, New Mexico St.

Miami Hurricanes still have a shot. If they beat VT this week, then OU, they will most likely be a top-5 team.
[B][B]They key isn't getting rich quick. The key is getting rich slowly, and enjoying it.
OU still has a legit chance if they beat texas there right where they want to be, cal has a legit chance they can beat USC and penn st will most likely beat OSU at home. I feel like Texas is vulnerable, i wasnt impressed by them one bit yesterday, this is going to be an interesting season cause no team really has been dominate specailly vs the spread

The ACC looks really weak this year. Miami has a legitimate shot at going undefeated.

I really feel like Florida is going to win it all this year, without much doubt. Defensively, they are the same as last year, if not better. They may have lost a few players on offense, but they still have a solid squad that can put points on the board.
Let's look at their remaining schedule. If they can get by on the road against an overrated LSU, then their remaining schedule would be 5 home games and 2 road games, with the road games being at miss st and south carolina , and the home games against more AVERAGE teams. So they are basically a lock to be in the SEC title game, and right there in great position to play Texas or OU in the title game; now that USC is out of the picture. After beating LSU next week, they will play against either Mississippi who have YET to prove themselves after finishing 9-4 last season; or they will play an Alabama team led by a mediocre QB. Either way, the SEC championship game will be played AT the SWAMP. The Florida team led by winner Tim Tebow is too similar to last year's dominant team to lose any games this season. Florida will repeat as National Champions.

There will be only one unbeaten team this year in college football. Boise State will face either 1-loss Texas (likely) or 1-loss Florida (longshot) for the BCS championship.
You heard it here first.

Miami's chance of going undefeated just got legitimately shot.
Assuming Tim Tebow was not hurt too badly tonight, Univ of FloridaGATORS will be the undefeated Florida team that will play Univ of Texas in Pasadena.

Big12 is very down this year... Big12 north sucks, OU already got handed by BYU and Okie State and TT both get clipped by Houston. The only team left is Texas but they can't be much better. I think they will lose a game shortly. SEC has the 2 best teams in Bama and UF. Hell LSU may be the 3rd although their coach is trash.
USCs offense is trash, OSU can't win the big game. Miami was fraudulent, Cal could barely beat Minnesota. There's a lot of horrible teams out there this year. One dark horse I like is South Florida. That defensive line may be the best in the business. Grothe being out really hurts but that other qb aint no joke.

Boise's win over Oregon looks alot better now that Ore crushed highly ranked Cal.
It's too early to assume any of the top team will be there. Remember how many #1 and #2 teams lost during the past few seasons.

Before the Miami/V-Tech game I said it would be either one of these 4 teams playing for the title, that being Miami, Florida, Alabama and Texas. Miami going down all but eliminated them unless they were to win out and take the Conference Title. Still leaves the other 3 to see who can win their way in. Odds on favorite is still Alabama.
