Jack, I'll be watching your Tide today. Fascinating game. First off, Dawgs have not conceded a TD in 3 games.
They played running clock in the game vs TENN Tech. So, that margin would have been wider.
I do think the DeBoer factor matters in this game. Smart has his program in place. Alab has at least some transition in personnel and coaching staff.
On paper it SHOULD be a Dawg win based on the program. If DeBoer can beat Smart right off the bat, then he's well ahead of what I expected. Also, I don't put a lot of stock on Alab beating a bad Wisky team (after the QB got knocked out early).
They tried to give it away in the 2nd half! The Dawgs had five 4th down conversions I believe. It almost won them the game. Only one 3rd down conversion, I think.

OK, Jack. Will do.
Will go down as a classic game. What a win for DeBoer. So early in his tenure.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Here is what I have on this. Anyone can audit me, if they want:
*SAT was profitable. But not as good as Thur/Fri:
(week) +9.78/52
Summary of results:
*App St - game was canceled.
*North Carolina - hangs the # with 3rd QB.
*VATech - covers and arguably should have won S/U in a classic game.
*UConn - wins easily.
*OklaSt - arguably a bad pick. Cowboys lose and appear to be way overrated.
*Marshall - QB Earle starts, they win by 7.
*TCU - wins outright.
*UAB - one of my bigger plays, Blazers lay an egg. Games against option teams are weird. Navy completes their 2nd drive...and there are 5:00 left in the first half. I don't question my play at all, just a bad result.
*Stanford - Tree played pretty well. QB left a ton of points on the board with three INTs. Could have played out better. I'm impressed by Stanford, they will be an upset threat later in the year.
*RUT - wins by 3.
*Wake - misses FG at gun, loses by 3.
*UNLV - other big play. Talk of the QB walking out. Backup played well, Rebels roll.
*Sam Hou - wins by 1.
*MissSt - plays a solid game with starting QB out. Stays well within the #.
*Army - is a great team. Not everyone realizes this yet. Great blocking team.
*Geo Sou - wins outright.
*New Mex St - loses by 10.
*Ohio St - wins by 31. Thought that MichSt was a bad matchup vs OhioSt.
*Bost Coll - wins by 1 with backup QB. But loses ATS.
*Old Dom - wins outright. I didn't expect Wilson to play. He did but left game again.
For various reasons, think I'm going to stop posting FCS plays.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?
