Exactly why I don't bet totals in CFB until the bowl games. Stanford = Academic Institution? Thought it was! The coach had to know the Math was there when he went for it on 4th and 16 from his own 20 yard line. He had all 3 time-outs and the 2 minute warning timeout to try to get the ball back if he punted. Nope. The NEW logical mathematical HIGH IQ decision is to go for it and if you don't get the 1st down you "ICE" the game away. I think its the "Chicago Math" strategy for analytics that he used.
