What are your Kentucky Derby Predictions for the big race on Saturday? I know we've got some great horse cappers in the community so let's find some winners!

I'll take a stab on Track Phantom - can be found as high as 33/1 right now.

Track Phantom will compete with Dornoch and possibly Fierceness and others for the early pace. Fierceness is a freak and avoiding traffic issues wins easy. This is a closers race. Sierra Leone, and an interesting one is Stronghold who just might find himself in a great stalking position.

All that aside, it should be a great race!!

This race is wide open once you get past the chalk who's run a couple of clunkers and could do so again; I'll take a shot at a trifecta. 7,8,17/4,7,8,17/4,5,7,8,17; 27 bucks for a shot at four figures.

Unless there’s a horse who gets an extra dose of roids and stimulants before the race, or we get a muddy track, feels like a chalk year

              im taking Fierceness

It's either Fierceness or who knows. If he finds the lead early he will run the front runners off their feet. Thus closers under him. Otherwise and it is a crap shoot with one the closers your bet key IMHO.

                          BOL to all!!

I thought, maybe ten years ago, you could do this in Europe, and word was maybe coming to NA, but haven't heard a word since???

The first two fractions posted if 22.7 and First half fraction in 45 and change or 46. and 3/4 fraction in 109 and change or 1:10 will be a big advantage for the closers.

1:10 .20 or less for 3/4's and the closers should be running late.

First two fractions of 23 or slower and a 1/2 mile in 47 or slower should allow the speed to hang around and should compromise the closers.

Watch the clock which should show up in the upper corner of the screen.

Pace makes the race almost all the time in this event.

                                    Hope that helps.

                                    Good Luck everyone.

I assume a very fast pace.

So it is Sierra Leone for me.

My picks in my thread were all based on a very fast early pace.

                                        Top 4:

                                        2. Sierra Leon
                                        7.Honor Marie
                                        4. Catching Freedom
                                        15. Domestic Product

                                        All deep closers.
I’m betting on a 46 or faster first 1/2 mile and a 1:09 and change or 10 flat 3/4 time. If so, I’ve got a shot.
A slow early pace and my tickets will land on the floor before they reach the stretch. Lol.

Good luck everyone. Enjoy the race.
