They want to increase the games even more. expand to 34. have you looked at the injuries this year vs YOY? and then vs '20? Yes it can happen in week 9 or week 1, but the more games played, the more likely this will happen.
And there is no way this is good for the brand. biggest primetime game all season long and it occurs 2-weeks before the great wild-card-three-day weekend, and millions watch a 24-yr old kid taken to the Icu and who knows what his outcome will be

Did anyone really examine the hit/play before he collapsed? Such an odd tackle... Hamlin came up to to the player with his arms wider than normal... took the offensive player's face mask right to the breastbone/heart area. The entire tackle was very awkward.

Reminded me of when Chris Pronger took a wrist shot right to the heart area... and he collapsed on the ice. I think they wheeled him off the ice with a stretcher.
