On most forums, the staff does not read PMs, although forum administrators typically can if they want to.

On SBR, reading PMs has been SOP for quite a while. I agree that there should be a disclaimer by the 'send PM' page, so that people don't find out by receiving infractions, which is usually how it happens.

Right. They've covered themselves in the fine print. Something so important shouldn't just be in the fine print though.

PMs should not be called private messages here and there should be reminders in the PM area that messages aren't private. I'm in total agreement with you.

So as some of you may know I am new to this online gaming, I understand this may be a common rule but called for clarification because I had never previously understod this rule, either way while this Wisconsin fl state game was underway during ot I called to see while the 2nd half under I bet had not been credited to my account. I asked him for where the rule was explaining why ot counted as a 2nd half line and he began talking to me like a prick, either way he canceled my account while the game was underway and I owe them like either 240 bucks or 140 depending on when this dumb ass closed my account. I had bets pending as well that are obviously canceled. So if credit wagering calls me or harasses me in any way for this 200 bucks I will tell them they need to show me a rule to back up their bs decision as well as credit my pending wagers. If not I will not pay them and if they show up at my house after speaking to me like this I will feel threatened for my life and will have no choice but to protect myself and shoot their dumb ass. I dont know who this ben guy is or thinks he is but if they post my picture online I will call the feds and take the charge, hopefully setting a precedent for online gaming and write a book. Any person who thinks that their customer service can behave in this matter and expect to get paid is just stupid. . I will have no choice but to protect myself from this dickhead and the threats he gave me over the phone. I have a written message saying my account was closed as well as the time on my phone. I will pay what is due, but like i said i will not pay pending wagers after my account is closed. If i see my picture posted for 240 bucks ill call the feds and shut this bs establishment down and take the charge i give a fvck,....

Hi Rob,

You're right on most counts. You are new to the game yet you have the good sense to look at your situation objectively and consider that you may be in error about overtime not counting toward 2nd half wagers. Thus, you have been spared the indignity and humiliation of fighting what is a losing battle. It's generally understood that 2nd half wagers include overtime. You weren't aware and that's par for the course when you step into uncharted territory. You've got to get your nose bloodied a bit before you realize how to avoid the punches. That being said, your customer service rep was obviously caught off guard when you asked where it was stated in the rules. He knew you were wrong but wasn't sure how to prove it. That's his job and he obviously failed miserably.

However, if you think the feds are going to assist you with an offshore sportsbook, I suggest you seek remediation elsewhere. They are hardly the source that will assist you in this situation. I'm a bit confused if this post is by Robmpink or ijustwant2bpaid or both. I hope you find a sportsbook that is more customer service oriented. I could suggest one but then again, I don't want to be painted as a shill for Caribsports!
