I am not sure why people are knocking me on this thread. It was my lifetime dream to play professional basketball. I never claimed to be very good . I played high school and started varsity as a sophmore. I always had a love for the game. I have had 5 surgeries on my knees total. My knees are totally shot out. There are over 12 different basketball leagues in Vietnam. It is a rarity to find a foreigner that speaks Vietnamese as well as I do. I made connections and have been hanging around some local teams and where they play over the years. I became friendly with one of the coaches and what not. There is NCAA talent and even Eddy Curry played one year here. Each team can have 1-2 foreign player. I have busted my ass to get on the team, I keep up with them just not the same skill set but I do well considering. The competition is fierce here. This is my last year on the team, I can't take it anymore physically. I have only actually entered a game two times when it was a blowout. I scored 4 points. That was enough for me. I travel with the team and practice with the team. I am on the roster . I am 48 years old, the average player is 20-24. I don't know how to post pictures, but I will have someone post them for me.
